Dr. Lee is truly a professional! He takes his time to ensure everything is done correctly. Staff are friendly and professional and make sure you are comfortable. Receptionists are always friendly and ensure paperwork is done properly and you are covered with your insurance. I have switched dental insurance a couple times and always choose to make sure Shine Dental is covered in my plan. I can't imagine going anywhere else!

Dr. Lee has been my dentist for a number of years, always had a good experience.

Recently, I've moved to NY and found a dentist locally that prescribed me a treatment plan that I was not sure about. I contacted Shine Dental to get a 2nd opinion; even though I wasn't examined clinically at Shine Dental, I gave them some x-rays and they offered their thoughts on the treatment plan from my new dentist. I greatly appreciate their efforts to do that for me.

We first called Shine dental several years ago when my husband had a dental emergency. Dr. Lee was the only dentist in the area that would see him without being an established patient. We liked the office so much that we went back. Now both of us see Dr. Lee on a regular basis as well as our children. Everyone is always super friendly from the office staff, dental assistants, pediatric dental assistants (who are great with toddlers!) to Dr. Lee.

I could not recommend Shine Dental enough. I have been going there for over a year after several of my family members recommended Dr. Lee and his team. My cleanings are always top notch and I love that my entire family can go to one office for our routine cleanings. We have also had to go for an emergency appointment and they fit us right in and helped getting all our info to a pediatric dentist for an upcoming oral surgery. Unlike other offices I’ve been to, I love that there aren’t any hidden fees or charges. We pay out of pocket for all our dental work and they make it so easy to understand and affordable. If you’re looking for a new dentist, I highly recommend Shine!

This place is a joke. I made am appointment as an existing client to get a very painful tooth pulled. I was a little late having a child to get ready sometimes takes longer than planned. But she had said since they were "working me in", it might take a while. So, I imagined waiting a super long time to be seen and didn't think 10 minutes would make or break an appointment that was a "why don't you come in around..." appointment. The word "around" was used so I didn't think it was a set appt. Anyway, if they couldn't see me so be it. They said they might not have time to take it out today, they would see. So I go straight back and after about 10 minutes a woman comes in and says in very accusations way that I was "changing my treatment plan". I told her I wasn't there to discuss my treatment plan, tat I was in a lot of pain and just wanted my tooth pulled.
She would stop talking about my treatment plan and how the doctor wouldn't let me do this or that and how I would have to do this in order to do that. I didn't care, but let her talk for a total of about 30 minutes before I said "Could we please not talk about my treatment plan anymore?" She looked offended and told me she was just doing her job.
When the dentist came in he talked to me about the treatment plan for another 15-20 minute. Finally, when he is done the girl sits me up in the chair but my back is fused so it was bending in the wrong place. I screwed for her to "STOP! STOP! STOP! YOUR HURTING ME" She came in and said she wasn't even in the room. I suggested she not set an automatic chair to sit up with a client in it and leave the room while the chair is sitting up. It felt like it almost bent the metal in my spine which is fused from the waist down.
After that she told me I could leave. I said "Well. You didn't pull my tooth! That's what I came in for." She told me there wasn't enough time now. I told her that if she didn't talk about my treatment plan for the entire session we would have had time. The doctor then told me that the girl had told him that I was there to talk snout my treatment plan!!! After I SPECIFICALLY told her I DIDN'T want to talk about it. The doctor didn't even know I was there to pull a tooth. She had set it up for me not to get treated that day. The doctor said he never even said he wouldn't do it, it was all the girl. I got very upset needless to say. Waisted my day and still didn't get my tooth pulled because they didn't listen and didn't care that I was in pain. I yelled our loud on my way out that they sucked and they even called the police on me! They followed me to my home to see if I was "all right". No, I am not I have a very painful tooth still in my head. Thanks for nothing, girl that caused all of it. Listen. Care. Treatment. Not that hard to do.

Terrible. Office refused to clean my kids teeth at our scheduled time after we asked they not receive an x-ray (one child had an x-ray there several weeks earlier). When I brought up the same issue on an earlier visit the receptionist said, "what's it matter? Your insurance covers it." Anyway, Dr. Lee even came out, refused to speak with us, and said something to the receptionist. She, in turn, reiterated if we wouldn't agree to additional x-rays, Shine Dental would not clean our children's teeth even though we had an appointment for a teeth cleaning. Not posting to argue about the x-ray, more to highlight a business who agrees to a service and then, after we show up for an appointment, refused us that service unless we agree to an additional, unrelated, service we didn't ask for. If you like to have a voice in the care provided to your children, stay away from Shine Dental.

Since a child I have always had a fear of the Dentist. The needles, the tools, the sounds.. ugh. Nothing has ever made me want to go to a dentist. Except the pain that I endured last week.

My teeth are not in the best condition because of this fear. Cleanings, fillings etc is needed but I put them off because of the pain I suffered as a child. Last year, one of my jaw teeth broke but I refused to go to the dentist. Until this past week when it became infected, my face swelled to the size of a basketball, and the pain felt like a hot poker iron was being stored in my gum.

I reached out and called Dr. Lees office. Even though I had NO dental history there they took me in to see me that same day. I had made the appt online. Which was cool. I didn't have to talk (my mouth hurt) The assistant (front desk) took my information without making me feel guilty for not seeing a dentist before it became so bad. She just met me where I was , in pain..she understood and made sure I had all the information I needed to see Dr. Lee.

When I went back to see Dr. Lee, his nurses were all so very kind. The one lady that looked in my mouth first did not make me feel bad because my teeth were in such bad shape. She just told me what she saw and said that Dr. Lee would be in. She also, just met me where I was.

Dr. Lee was very kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and did not judge me for my teeth. He also met me where I was. Although.. lol, ofcourse he did tell me what I needed to do in the future for my teeth. He is a doctor after all. lol. And I will follow up on his treatment plan.

All in all, my visit was as pleasant as a dental visit could be. The entire team was awesome. I did not encounter any pain during my visits at all. It was better service than I have ever encountered in any medical office or actually anywhere. I was very pleased and if you are looking for a dentist..rest assured.. this is the best.
