Well because my insurance is weak, I left the office poorer than I was before, but they fixed the hell out of my tooth. Did a great job. Dr. S. is a very easygoing guy who knows what he’s doing. He’s professional and comfortable to be around. The clinic made sure I was comfortable and fully explained every step of the procedure. They fully answered my questions, including those about payment, and laid everything out without hidden costs or any shady stuff. I got to watch part of an episode of Family Feud before the whizzing, skull-shaking metallic sound of my tooth being ground upon diverted my attention. Having dental work done anywhere just sucks in general (nobody loves to go to the dentist) but Carly the hygienist/assistant made it much less unpleasant. She was super professional and comfortable to be around. She was laser focused on every step of the procedure and made sure I didn’t feel excess discomfort. She is a true technician. I hope Carly is there when I go back for the next step of my tooth repair in 3 weeks. Everybody at this clinic clearly knows what they are doing and they do it well. I’m out a bit of $$, but I’d rather support Dr. Studerus’ office than the Somali pirate “dentist” in Tacoma that pulled out a bad tooth of mine a few years back. I’m not joking.

Well, lets start with walking into an empty office. Yes even the receptionist was gone. Where I dont know. I said hello a couple of times and no answer so I just sat there waiting for someone to come and give me a warm greeting. When someone did show up they just looked at me and said so and so will be with you soon and walked away.
Someone did finally show up and brought me into the back and sat me down took an expensive exray and said Dr. Will be with you in a min. Dr. Shows up and from behind me intros himself as Scott Studerus. Says tooth looks bad lets get it out. Assistant has to get me to sign consent and when I ask how much? Shw tells me $234.00 for the extraction. Silly me didn't ask for total.
When all said and done the bill was $375.00. Just not having the warm professional feeling of someone that cares.
I felt like one hand in my mouth and the other in my wallet. If they had told me from the beginning it was $375 I wouldn't have felt violated at the end.
Being in customer service all my life I know what good service is and what it looks like and to tell you the truth this isn't it!!

Dr. Studerus and dental staff were great. Can't say same for office. Gave me estimate of services and verbal approval for sedation which turned out to not be covered, but office would not make it right. Get a CONFIRMATION of coverage from your dental insurance before getting work done here.

I had a wisdom tooth that was getting loose and needed to come out ASAP.
I called in the morning and they got me in that afternoon and extracted the tooth.
WOW what a wonderful bunch of people! Kind, concerned, knowledgeable, informative, tentative, non-judgmental, (my teeth need attention.) and just plain friendly. They contacted my insurance company and got the procedure covered before I was even done with the extraction.
What really impressed me most was that the Technician ( wish I could remember her name) was with me the entire time, not that I needed her there but if I did, she was there to accommodate. She was so informative and caring. If a visit to the dentist to get a tooth pulled can be a pleasant experience, this was it!
