Life long dental was recommended to me from another dentist office that couldn’t accept any new patients. As I arrived at life long, the receptionist informed me that they were usually not open on Monday's and they’re day was about done. Dispute the Dr. and staff wanting to head home. They saw me anyways and took X-rays. They signed me up as a new patient and set up an appointment for my needed procedures. I haven’t heard of any businesses going to that length to accommodate a client in a very long time. Couldn’t of been happier with my experience. Thank you Life Long Dental.

We love coming to Life Long Dental, we started coming here 6 months ago when my husband had a bad experience at our previous dental office. My husband had a tooth that needed immediate attention he called Life Long Dental and they got him in that day.
We now bring our whole family here and could not be happier with the kind amazing care we receive!

This is the BEST dental office. The staff is so amazing, they're all so personable. Dr Gillespie is so gentle, he always makes me feel at ease, he explains step by step what he is doing in my mouth. He's the absolute best!

Dr Gillespie is amazing. We have been going to Life Long Dental for 6 years now and we were anxious meeting the new Dentist, but we are more than pleased. Dr Gillespie and the staff work so well together and they make you feel like part of the family. We ended up switching our kids from a pediatric dentist to Life Long Dental because how impressed we were. My whole family now goes here and we have all had work done and have had no problems. While all of the staff at this office are warm and helpful, and Dr. Gillespie himself is kind, engaged, and knowledgeable, sadly, I have not had the best overall experience at this office.

I went in for extreme tooth sensitivity and pain a couple of months ago, due to a fractured tooth, and I was offered the option of a tooth extraction or a crown. Since I wanted to keep my tooth, I opted for the latter. The crown process had some unexpected ups and downs, and I was left feeling a bit uneasy about the finished result. However, Dr. Gillespie and his staff seemed to think the crown process was a success, so I was hopeful.

Within a day, I started having extreme pain on the entire left side of my mouth. I corresponded with the office a number of times to review options, as I was heading out of town. Opting against antibiotics (which was a mistake on my part), I chose OTC pain relievers, ice packs, and topical gels. Pain seemed to subside a bit on my trip, and then, the pain came back with a vengeance. I was in excruciating pain on the entire left side of my mouth again, and the pain seemed less and less responsive to any of the previously utilized treatments.

I was able to contact the office, and I acquiesced to the recommended antibiotics (which certainly helped - though pain was still very present).

When I was able to make another appointment, the staff and dentist were compassionate and engaging, as usual, but the options provided were not what I was expecting (or hoping for). Ultimately, the crown process seemed to exacerbate a pre-existing condition, and it would turn out to will be a lot of wasted time, pain, and money, as it was highly recommended that the tooth be extracted as soon as possible.

I really like and appreciate this staff as people, but I find myself feeling a bit uncertain about whether my dental work was done correctly and/or if I should have received better feedback about the state of my tooth (and the potential for serious infection) earlier in the process. Whenever you find yourself in MORE pain after a treatment process than before, it feels like something has gone a bit awry.

With concerns acknowledged, I do want to note that this was one of the only local dentist offices that I found in my search that was taking Covid precautions seriously and prioritizing the safety of those of us in vulnerable population households. Despite my critique, I was incredibly grateful for that (and wish more care providers would follow suite - especially as Covid is still present and incredibly contagious).
