Downriver Smiles is one of the best in Spokane. I have noticed their office recently updated their staff, which has enhanced my overall experience tremendously. Dr. Gaunt is the most diligent, respectful, and determined dentist I have ever met. It is very noticeable that he is there for his patients and a great listener. He respects the patients needs as well as provides excellent care. Don’t look elsewhere, Downriver provides the best dental care in Spokane! Thank you to all the staff and Dr. Gaunt for treating me with respect, providing me top of the line care, and a shoutout to my amazing hygienist who gave me a great cleaning today :)

Best experience I have had with dentist so far. Tabitha was my dental hygienist, and she was absolutely amazing. Not only did she make me feel comfortable, but she was extremely thorough. She communicated effectively with me as well as the dr. I can say with confidence — She is the reason individual return for dental services. She has a great personality, she is professional, and truly cares about an individuals health and well-being!

Downriver Smiles is an excellent , comfortable dental office. My Husband and I have been very pleased with all the staff. Dr. Gaunt is a friendly and highly skilled Dentist. Would absolutely recommend this facility.

RUN! Don’t walk to Downriver Smiles.
As a person who has struggled with dental anxiety since childhood, I could not recommend this dental office and their people more. I would give them a ten star if I could. From the moment I filled out my new patient paperwork until walking out of their front door, I was made to feel welcomed, cared for and at ease.
The new patient paperwork addresses not only physical needs for your visit, but for those of us who struggle with these visits, they address the physiological aspect as well.
Aubrey at the front desk was helpful with and knowledgeable about scheduling, insurance and otherwise. She had great communication skills and made me feel welcome.
Tabitha was the most meticulous, thorough and best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. Never in my life have I had a cleaning done for me before yesterday. She was thorough and so, so sweet. She didn’t ask questions but kept conversation without talking about herself a whole lot (somehow) and was very personable. Tabitha, you are amazing at what you do!
Then enter Dr. Gaunt. Once you meet him, you realize why his staff is so incredible. He is not only a dentist, but a gentle leader. Him and Tabitha worked together to look over my mouth and make sure no fine detail was missed. They addressed some things I had suspicions about and other things that I would have had no clue existed. His exam was extensive and informative.
Nothing felt rushed and everyone seemed so dedicated to their job and patients.

We have been at Downriver Smiles for many years. Dr. Gaunt came on many years later and he has been a trustworthy and professional dentist that we appreciate. I would have to say this is the healthiest my teeth have ever been in my 56 years. We have always been pleased with Dr. Gaunt and I would give him 5 stars but over the years the front staff has changed and in the past we always knew if there was going to be any charges before the treatment was done. Over the last several years we have had some surprise charges. They were confusing and were not expected. I trust they will get those kinks worked out.

First appointment at Downriver Smiles was delightful! The staff were very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thankful to have a new dentist that I can trust.

Downriver Smiles is a great dental practice. Their hygienist are friendly and through and both they and the dentist don't try and sell you on stuff you don't need. Instead they offer several alternatives with pros and cons and let you decide. When I had a problem tooth last year that several previous dentist could not solve, they took care of it.
