I had an awful experience with Dr. Crowley. His examination of my teeth and mouth was incompetent and inept. He diagnosed 2 cavities and when I saw his prices I told the office staff that I would seek another dentist who had lower prices. I did find such a dentist and went in for exam. The x-rays were forwarded. The new dentist found 3 cavities, not 2. He also found a lesion in my mouth that might need a biopsy - not sure yet. Crowley did not see the lesion. Does anyone not understand how important this is? He missed one cavity as well. I wen to his office to request a partial refund. The x-rays were okay. The exam was absolutely not okay. He gave me a verbal runaround and without actually coming out and saying no, in effect he did say no. I hope this post is read by lots of people.

Nice people...but twice have had fillings that are not hardened inside? Never have I seen this before. The first time took a couple months of hurting and going back in before they found the problem. Just now paying a different dentist to have the next one fixed correctly.

I had a good experience with Dr. Crowley yesterday when he replaced two old fillings (done at UCSF in 1979) and filled a new cavity in the same area. No novocain was used and good apposition was obtained to adjacent teeth.
