I went in for 2 root canals. All I've heard about them is that they're very painful. But I had them both done and didn't feel a thing. Best dentist visit ever. They worked with my schedule and they were very nice and thoughtful. Definitely recommend TLC dental

I saw Dr. Martino today for a filling. He was very caring and made sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment.

I had recently had some awful, traumatic dental experiences and the folks at TLC got me in very quickly to address my concerns and help me. They were patient, kind, and very understanding of my fears and phobias. I've found my new dentists.

Had to bring my 5 year in after she had a broken tooth. They took care of her and made it as painless and fun for her as possible. Staff was courteous and understanding. We will be back again!

Honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect but I am so impressed! I haven’t had great dental experiences in the past at my old place, however at TLC, everyone was so nice and extremely thorough.

This place is a scam. It's website states, "Our staff will also gladly complete a complementary benefits check and coverage estimate for the treatment you need ." However, when you require them to check your insurance coverage, they will fail to inform you of their network (in network/out of network) designation per your insurance plan. Ultimately, whether they are an in network or out of network provider, they will inform you that your insurance is valid and eligible for coverage, surely allaying your concerns that you will be hit with a big bill. As anyone with any knowledge of healthcare insurance knows, in network coverage and out of network coverage are two completely different things; out of network deductibles can be 2x higher than in network, co-pays are nonexistent on out of network, etc - out of network coverage is typically only used in times of an emergency when in network is unavailable or impractical. TLC advertises as if they will act as a liaison between you and insurance, but in reality they act against you. In my experience I was told my insurance was "valid and eligible for coverage" when I conducted my due diligence beforehand. I went to my appointment for the following: typical check-up items (cleaning/x-rays), to have a potential cavity diagnosed and treated with filling, and to get a quote on getting veneers. The cleaning was performed and x-rays taken, and I was quoted for the filling and veneers. They told me they could do the fillings that day, but asked me if I'd like to pay for the check-up items (something that usually corresponds with a $10-$30 co-pay or a smaller amount of money) first upon which I was hit with a $255 bill to have my teeth brushed and pictured. Alas, I was informed they are an out of network provider. The quotes I received for the fillings and veneers had a signature line for me, the patient, to sign to ensure I agree with the charges before the services were rendered; for some reason, I was not afforded this luxury for the cleaning and x-rays - maybe because the cost was small enough for some to not care and just pay and be done with. The fabrication they advertise on their website of checking your benefits is just that: a lie. And why would would it be truthful? Insurance companies work out discounted rates and use other negotiating tactics including the use of actuarial mathematics that result in them paying less in their transactions with healthcare providers than what an individual would. This creates moral hazard for the healthcare provider, where if they can dupe the customer, they can make more money. Nevertheless, I have forwarded these concerns to the WV Better Business Bureau and will be avoiding this place and its ilk in the future, as should you.

Dr. Martino and the entire staff is friendly and professional. I am afraid of the dentist and they put me at ease and keep me informed every step of the way. I feel like part of the TLC family and don't hate going to the dentist now.

High morale, employees taking measures to migrate risk and being transparent as to what the practice has been going through. Identifying new policies their adapting to during this time and being proactive as possible about cleanliness. Great service !

Glad Robbie taught David a thing or two. Felix needs to stay in his room and be ready for anything!
