Excellence In Dentistry: Dr. Kendall Skinner

When my husband and I learned Dr. Kendall moved back to Alaska we couldn’t wait to book our next dental visit. He is the kindest and most gentle dentist you will ever meet. Recently, I had an amazing experience with my new dental veneers. Dr. Kendall and his staff worked so incredibly hard and gave me a beautiful smile I had only dreamed of. He and his staff, who actually know every single patient by name, treated me like a celebrity. Dr. Kendall and his team listened to my concerns, worked with my hectic schedule and delivered top notch service. He likely belongs in LA or NY as he is extremely talented. Nonetheless, Alaska is incredibly lucky to have him back!

Dr. Johnson and Dr. Burke do incredible work. They are very personable and it is always a pleasure to visit with them. I had another dentist here in town and this office was rude and seemed to only reach out when they wanted payment. I get nothing like that with Dr. Johnson or Burke. I'm glad I made the choice to come to Excellence in Dentistry!!

I highly recommend Dr. Johnson, Dr. Burke and the entire staff at Excellence in Dentistry. One of the reasons I went there was because my jaw was popping all the time and occasionally locking up. Dr. Johnson corrected my bite and got rid of the problem. I also had a lot of work that needed to be done and the work looks great.

Both dentists are very professional but also very personable. Working with them has always been a good experience. I think they are very cognizant of people’s budget concerns and they try to offer options for dealing with dental problems that take budgets into account.

The staff at Excellence in Dentistry are all wonderful. I always feel like they are paying attention to my concerns and they all work well with both dentists. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The staff made every effort to make my procedures as stress-free as possible. The office and medical staff members were all masked. Dr. Kendall explained the rather complex plan clearly and any questions that I had were answered thoroughly and thoughtfully.

I started coming to Dr. Kirk Johnson back in 2011 with hopes of improving my smile. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and happy with what I requested as far as cosmetic dentistry goes. It was painless and I was so comfortable during the procedure I actually go to watch Remember the Titans twice. They not only gave me a smile I fell in love with but gave me my confidence back I needed just in time for my graduation! After having such a great experience my entire family now has started seeing him and his team and they are hands down THE BEST in Alaska and our favorite dentistry in town. I refuse to go anywhere else and now 7 years later I will be competing in a pageant and cant wait to show off the smile. With out them and the smile I have I know I wouldn't have the confidence to compete. Thank you Dr Kirk, Dr. Kendall and their team for always being so welcoming and giving the best care to your patients. You gave me more than a smile, and for that I am grateful.

I highly recommend Excellence in Dentistry. I started treatment for TMJ just over a year ago after struggling with daily headaches and severe jaw pain/popping. Within just a couple days of beginning my treatment through Dr. Johnson and his amazing team, the headaches were gone and my pain was minimized. Over the course of the treatment Dr. Johnson was able to bring my bite to a comfortable spot and now the symptoms I came in with are gone.

Overall, the entire office is professional as well as friendly, and I am always happy with the outcome of every visit whether it is for treatment or for cleanings.

The staff at Excellence in Dentistry explained everything well, listened to my concerns, and answered my (many) questions. I was confident in their work and they took the time to ease me through the process. They conveyed a sense of urgency in my situation and had me back in the office for my procedure in less than 24 hours. Everyone was professional, compassionate, friendly, caring, and dedicated. Dr Skinner put me at ease right away and I have every faith in him.
