Dr. Johnson and Dr. Burke are amazing! And their staff are the most caring people I have ever come to know ! They treat you like family, they listen to all your fears, cares and needs. I will admit that I am not an easy patient, I know what I want, and have had terrible dental experiences in the past. Not any more, Excellence in Dentistry is the ONLY dentist for me now!! If you're like me and put off dental care for many many.. Many years due to fear of pain and the whole ordeal, This is the place for you. Not only will they do whatever it takes to make you comfortable, if you prefer to not even be awake for all your care they can make that happen. I had some major work done including about 12 hours total of being sedated for oral surgery. I can't stress enough how much this staff cared about my comfort and doing whatever it was that made me feel most comfortable. Dr Skinner and his staff were not only extremely knowledgeable they really made me feel more like a friend rather then a patient. If you have any concern about pain or not feeling safe and comfortable just bring it up with them. They're more then happy to listen and address your concerns. If you're like me and extremely wary of dentistry and all that it brings, This is /THE/ Place to go.

I had a deep cleaning less than a year ago. I came to this office and they recommended another deep cleaning Without even having my records transferred over from my last dentist.

Dr. Johnson, Dr. Kendall and their entire staff make the patients comfort a priority. Everyone in the office is so friendly and professional. My smile radiates because of their cosmetic expertise and Jenn’s support and enthusiasm during the smile design process was contagious. Highly recommend!

They always do a great job. Most importantly, they go out of their way to manage my sensitive teeth even during routine cleanings.

I recently went through orthodontic treatment and both of the doctors in the orthodontist office complimented the quality of my crowns.

The office is so homey and yet super clean and modern. I was blown away by the technology that they have at the office. When I met with Dr. Kendall, it was clear that he was not about cutting corners. Nicole, Charlotte and the other team members are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the best dentist that Anchorage has to offer, but I'd also recommend them to people in the lower 48.

My experience at the office has been nothing short of stellar. Dr. Kendall and his staff all know their stuff. Now, if you’re considering an appointment for TMJD related stuff, let me share how my experience has been, 6 weeks into the dental orthotic protocol.

My TMJ issues began in 2013, stemming from a broken jaw. However, after reviewing my xrays, Dr. Kendall determined that I had a genetic predisposition towards jaw issues; some very specific bony structural issues, jaw popping my whole life, etc. but there is no doubt that I am having severe symptoms caused by TMJD. The broken jaw was the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back.

These symptoms, for me, include moderate to sometimes severe neck pain and decreased range of motion, severe jaw locking and popping (could not chew food some days as I could not open my mouth wide enough), insomnia, occasional migraines, and, the biggest issue of all, a very weird and very hard to explain vertigo type disorder that isn’t really vertigo but can’t really be classified as anything else. I have seen over 30 doctors, chiropractors, surgeons, specialists, and physical therapist over the past 7 years, so.. Dr. Kendall, how can you help me?

Introducing: the dental orthotic. This little piece of.. well I’m not sure what it’s made of, but it is designed to correct the overall musculature of the bite pattern, which, as I am finding out almost day by day, can and does affect the entire body. Again, after 7+ years and OVER 30 doctors, I am writing this review today with 0 neck pain, almost full range of motion, very much improved insomnia (I have slept through the night a few times in the past weeks - amazing for me), and, the kicker, my heretofore unexplained vertigo that has controlled my life for most of the 7 years has been dulled down to a low, almost background like effect, which has allowed me to take back large aspects of my life that I haven’t been able to do for a long time. And I’m only 6 weeks in.

I am optimistic as well, that by the end of this protocol, I will be completely pain and symptom free, as the healing I have experienced in 6 weeks seems to be just the start. I am feeling better every single day, and we aren’t even a quarter of the way through the protocol. I will update this review at the 6 month mark.

I am aware that Dr. Kendall and his staff offer a wide variety of other services, and while I have not received any of these, based on my experiences, I would be confident in receiving top notch care and getting exactly what was needed, done by a team that truly cares.

Dr Kendall and his team are great! I had TMJ for about 4 years and I seen dentist in three different cities and out of the country. He’s been the first one to be able to help me. I’m in month two of the process and my back muscle pain is significantly reduced. It’s been great working with them! :)

I highly recommend Excellence in Denistry for all dental services! Both dentists Dr Johnson and Dr Burke are professionals who are highly educated in the latest dental procedures and use the latest dental equipment. The staff is very friendly, caring, and well trained. My personal denistry experience was outstanding. I required diversed and complicated procedures which included implants, and with Dr Johnson's tremendous knowledge and denistry skills they were always performed with perfection! My overall experience with the doctors and staff was superb! They are the best!
