Arrowhead Family Dentistry

I asked for specific appointment for a specific procedure. They brought me in to do something else and took unneeded x-rays after I already had x-rays. They then wanted me to pay for them when I repeatedly told them I wasn't going to do a procedure. I just wanted a pocket to be looked at. They replaced a cavity filling that my insurance denied. They should have had it approved before the procedure and never told me. They are a place that rips people off. Don't trust them.

The hygienist, Chris, was very knowledgeable and answered any questions thoroughly and efficiently. Discussed the radiographs and a bit about what to expect during the first visit.
Dr. "K" Kaur was very kind, wonderful bedside manner. Addressed concerns and thoroughly talked about how to correct and continue care for the tooth/teeth needed.
I will be returning and recommending their office to those I know.

My dentist office is closed for the week and was referred to Arrowhead Family Dentistry. While I didn’t have any work done, they were able to get me in right away for ab exam. Dr. K was very nice and got right to the point. Appreciate Dr. K and staff for helping me out.

I found this new dentist based off the reviews and scheduled appointments for my family. The dentist changed the treatment plan without my knowledge or informed consent, and when I was at the appointment to get my fillings done, she told me she needed to do additional fillings (more time and $$) that I was unaware of. When I told her I was uncomfortable getting additional work done that wasn’t on the treatment plan, she refused to do any work on the treatment plan so I had to leave with a numb mouth and no work done. I spoke with the office manager, who was very rude, and she said that they would be discharging me because the dentist doesn’t think I’ll trust her to get the work done. I asked for a copy of the treatment plan which the dentist modified without my knowledge on the day I went to get the fillings done and added the unnecessary ones (more $$). The office manager canceled my children’s upcoming new patient cleaning appointments and said that my family should see a different dentist. I have never experienced this poor treatment from any doctor or dentist, and felt as if I was taken advantage of and this was a ploy to make more money off me. I wonder how many others have experienced this as well.

Updated To Add: I have one missed appointment fee due to my children being sick and not being able to find a babysitter and they weren’t understanding and would not accommodate me, plus they insisted that I pay a fee. I had to reschedule other appointments due to important family emergencies. Thank goodness I found another dentist and had a MUCH better experience, and they informed me they would only do what I’m comfortable with and confirmed I have less cavities than Arrowhead Family Dentistry was claiming and they are minor.

Sounds unrealistic to say this but I enjoy my visits to AFD! The staff is so caring and welcoming. From the technicians who are knowledgeable and courteous, to the dentist who offered proactive care and treatment plans best suited for a healthy lifestyle. It is so wonderful to be treated like a person and not a "patient."

As far as I’m concerned, Arrowhead Family Dentist definitely earned and deserves a 5-star rating. The crown fell off my front tooth during dinner. I didn’t have an appointment, but they worked me in the next morning. Dr. K and the staff was super nice plus everyone I came in contact with exhibited great customer service. Their professionalism as well as concern for my comfort was paramount. My crown was replaced without a hitch. Thank you.

I am not the easiest patient to work with and I must say this practice has been incredible. I have a low pain threshold with oral procedures and have had bad past experiences from a young age so have a little anxiety when I go to the dentist. That sounds really high maintenance I know...regardless, Dr. K is amazing and I highly recommend her! She is very knowledgeable, compassionate, kind and a wonderful dentist. My hygienists and dental assistants have all been incredible as well. Thank you all for putting up with me :)

The dental hygienist did a very thorough cleaning. She was very detailed. When the cleaning was completed, it felt like I had a new set of teeth. The examination by the doctor was very efficient and pleasant. The office atmosphere is very comfortable. In the room where I had the cleaning, there was a unique painting vibrant in color, which helped create a relaxing atmosphere. This office certainly deflates any anxiety in visiting the dentist.

The staff were very gentle and understanding in their approach to my dental anxiety.
