My dentist of 30 years joined this group. First visit I was not greeted and welcomed in fact I was ignored as I signed in and walked to a seat. The old office manager came to where I was sitting to give me new paperwork to fill out. When my dentist assistant called me back I was not done filling out the new office paperwork and one of the front end girls was not going to let me go back to see my dentist until it was filled out . I told her the paperwork would be filled out before I left and I was going back. Someone who ignored me when I came in now telling me I could not go back until I finished the paperwork was not to be tolerated. I found them uninterested in the new clients my dentist was bringing to the practice. I found the place concerned more about presenting a Scottsdale attitude than a family dentistry practice . I love my dentist however I do not love this practice.

I'm a fairly new patient at Douglas Family Dentistry, but I know I will be staying with them. My dentist is Dr Kyle Gawrys, and she is extremely professional, kind, gentle, and very concerned about patient comfort. The dental assistants I've been treated by so far are absolutely wonderful...special praise to Gina, Kelly, and Shiloh -- you're all fantastic. And the front office staff are all part of this delightful "family" and make me feel welcomed and cared for whenever I'm there. I find that in Scottsdale many practices seem to place more importance on cosmetics than on essential dental health, and that is NOT the case with DFD. They can do anything you want in the realm of cosmetic dentistry, but first and foremost they care about your oral health. I recommend DFD without hesitation!

I was on vacation in the Scottsdale area and my temporary crown popped off. I found this dentist via the web. I called for an urgent appointment. The staff were very professional and accomodating. I had an appointment within 30 minutes and and a new crown immediately. Eveything was explained to me and I am very happy a quick resolution. I would highly reccomend this dental office.
