Being a professional patient, (many visits for fillings and crowns since I was a kid) I'd usually put off my dental visits because there was usually pain involved and it took so long in the chair. Fast forward to Peak Family Dental and Dr. Brad Lerud! The entire staff is efficient and friendly. Wait times are minimal and all my procedures were fast and PAIN FREE! Dare I say I look forward to going to the dentist? Ok , ok...but they have turned the fear and uncomfortableness into a great experience all round. If you need a dentist or have been putting it off...fear not, try them out and get your best smile on!!!

It had been almost 15 years since I had been to a dentist. I used to routinely get work done as general maintenance... until my early 20s happened and my oral health wasn't much of a priority once I left the nest. Getting back into the swing of dental health was a scary one at first since it had been so long, but Dr. Laruud and his entire staff from reception to x rays have all been wonderful and welcoming. I really feel like my comfort is a priority along with getting my oral health back to 100%. Rita is absolutely amazing at what she does and I have never had such a thorough yet incredibly gentle but still efficient person work on my teeth. Thank you Dr. Laruud, Shannon, Rita and Gretchen for all of your help. I know I am missing the wonderful young lady who did my bite wing x rays my very fist visit but her name escapes me...I highly recommend going to visit these wonderful people at Peak they are all awesome and I know what it's like to be afraid to go to get dental work done due to bad past experiences on top of it being so many years since my last visit to a dentist. They all want to keep your smile in great condition so you can keep doing what you love! Including chewing your food and smile for family photos or be the first impression for that big job. Great experience. Fast, kind, compassionate staff, hygienests, and dentists. My wife and I are patients and couldn't be happier. We've been for cleanings, crowns, fillings, and I'm doing SureSmile clear aligners. Can't believe how quickly my crooked teeth have straightened...in only 7 months.

The care is fantastic. They even went out of their way to prepare a torn aligner in just 3 hours...and stayed after hours to allow me to pick it up the same day. Highly recommend Peak Family Dental Care.

Love! Love! Love this practice! As soon as I got to town for vacation, I had a dental emergency. They graciously and immediately worked me in on a busy Monday. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Lerud and his assistant Tawny. If I lived in Sedona, I would definitely be a patient in this practice. Highly recommend!

I love the truly friendly and compassionate staff here- Dr Byers is terrific, Ashley is a gem and the technology they have is amazing. All the people there are so so nice-it makes difficult visits much easier for the grateful patients!!

I had a yr old crown that cracked off on a Sunday night and at 8am on Monday morn, Dr. Lerud and his team (Tia, Ashley, Diana) helped me the moment I walked in the door! 40 min later, I was done! (Of course no charge). My husband had his teeth straightened with Dr Shanahan, and the care he gave was tremendous! Peak family dentistry staff are kind, conscientious, accessible! We highly recommend them.

This is a mixed review. Dr. Shanahan seems to be a very qualified and capable doctor in his field. He does remind me a bit of my auto mechanic who is skilled not only in fixing my car but in finding new things to fix and thus boost revenue. But hey, that's capitalism for you. The girls in the front office are very nice and friendly. However, I will not be returning to Peak Family Dental for two reasons. 1) Even though I spent an hour filling out my personal profile and gave them my address at least twice, they still were incapable of entering that info into their software. Hence, they sent an invoice to me at an old address, and the post office never bounced it back to them. Now my account is 90 days overdue so they wrecked my credit score. 2). I dutifully showed up today at 10:45 a.m. for an 11 a.m. teeth cleaning appointment. I waited until 11:15. One of the girls came out to tell me that the hygienist is just finishing the previous patient and thanked me for my patience. I waited 10 more minutes. Still no word. I informed the desk that I was now leaving because the wait was too long. I have ZERO PATIENCE for people who either overbook their patients or are too incompetent to stagger the appointments. I have ZERO TOLERANCE for people who feel that their time is more valuable than mine. As Seinfeld said, "You know how to TAKE the reservation. You just don't know how to HOLD the reservation." Bye-bye.
