I have an infected tooth was not going to get an appointment till another month away. I was worried about the infection so I showed up for some advice and was seen that day. I know this doesn't always happen but I was lucky. Thank you so much Dr. Beck for taking the time out of your busy schedule to help me!

This practice cares more about the dollar than the patient. Have been going here for a few years with my children. Last year I received a metal crown from Dr. Woods. As I am on Medicaid, this was all I could afford. Another tooth needed a crown this year, but Dr. Woods told me he would not do a metal crown because "It is not Standard of Care to use metal", which medicaid pays for at a greatly reduced fee (a porcelain crown is about $1,000) . He offered to rebuild/fill the tooth, which he did in a rush as I was not there that day for this. In his haste, he created a void behind the tooth large enough that food gets impacted with every bite which is painful. Today I explained this to him and asked if he would please fix it. I was told he wouldn't do that, but he could extract the tooth. I was stunned! I said "You're telling me that crowning that tooth with metal was not 'Standard of Care' in your office, but extracting a viable tooth because you made a mistake and you won't get paid for fixing it IS your 'Standard of Care'?". He replied "Yes", and then walked out of the room.
I recently moved here from Tampa, FL and I can tell you that his idea of "Standard of Care" is not in line with any professional dentist I have ever seen. And my wife teaches Medical Billing and Coding, so I see where the man's attention is focused. Extraction of teeth is an absolute last resort, not a go-to when your profit margin is in question. And that practice is bordering on unethical when your choices "Do Harm".

Professional friendly staff. Very helpful and always willing to answer any questions I have. I live in Sherwood but choose to come to East oak dental care in conway. I will be having any future dental care done here. Keep up the good work guys!

I lucked into finding Dr. Beck due to being on Adult Medicaid for a couple of months, and he was the only dentist around who took it. I am so glad I did. I needed several teeth pulled, because they were beyond saving. Nobody lectured me about how bad my teeth were (and I know they're bad because I didn't take care of them), but they just took care of the problem. If you do feel pain during the procedure, tell them, and they will stop and add more anesthetic. If you've been afraid of the dentist before (and I have), Dr. Beck is the one you want to see.

Excellent! All the way around this is the best dentist office and dentist I have ever had!

Everyone was very kind, the paperwork was very minimal, which I loved. Digested excellent work as well as the dentist. Overall I had an excellent experience.
