This office runs smoothly and efficiently. These are two of their many qualities I appreciate. I am a mom on the go therefore my time is valuable! Dr. Herrera has a positive personality and is detailed orient. If he doesn’t like the way his work turned out, he is willing to do it again. This practice is highly favorable and also demonstrates he takes pride in his work. The office staff of Rock Doc Dentistry are very friendly and proficient in their job. The entire staff works together as a strong team; moreover, the atmosphere is inviting and positive. In my opinion this is the best dental office I have ever encountered.

I am the biggest chicken when it comes to dentists and in Bakersfield, I had the worst experiences. But Dr. Herrera changed all of that. I did not feel a thing. The staff is professional and accommodating. My sons and I have been so impressed and are proud to be part of the ROCK DOC family. The office is decked out in classic rock memorabilia and the tunes overhead are on point. The prices are fair and the work excellent. Quality and care😎

Rock Doc Dentistry is nothing short of top notch denistry! From the front of the house staff, to all of the dental staff. Super nice people. Dr. Herrera aka Rock Doc is very experienced and knowledgeable and performed crowns on my teeth. Everything turned out great and I couldn’t be happier. Now I am rocking a great smile!

Recently I started taking my 8yr old son and so far we like it. Specially because my son is autistic and he was scared with his previous dentist. I honestly thought that he wouldn't like it because he has trouble adjusting to new things (I've taken him since he was a baby at the previous dentist). We were there for his fillings and Dr. Herrera and staff were really patient with him😊. Also they would explain the process which I think made him very comfortable. I haven't seen him like that before and for the first time he wasn't nervous. But I know it was thanks to everyone that made him feel safe. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Doc Rock 🎸 Dentistry😊

After my daughter had a failed treatment plan with another dentist(2.5 years of braces on), we were referred here to Rock dental. My daughter and I couldn’t be happier with level of care and compassion Dr.Herrera and his team gave her. She now has hope in regaining her smile back.

I would like to Thank you Dr. Herrera and staff!!..(They saved me money but most importantly my tooth!!) I have been a patient of Rock Doc in the past but due to my career I’ve had to work the last few years out of town. During that time I started experiencing a toothache and scheduled an appointment with a dentist in the area. I was told I had “seven” cavities and needed a tooth pulled. I’m a person that takes amazing care of my teeth and knew there was no possible way I could have that many cavities!. Shortly after returning to Bakersfield, I immediately made an appointment with Rock Doc Dentistry. During my appointment with Dr. Herrera, I was informed and shown through x-rays that I had ZERO cavities and that he was able to save my tooth with a root canal and crown!!!.. Finding a trustworthy dentist is hard but Dr. Herrera & his staff make it easy!!..I currently reside in Fresno and will continue commuting to Bakersfield every six months for my dental cleanings/etc. Thanks again Rock Doc, you guys rock!

I've never waited for longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room. They are really good at scheduling. The music is awesome and the services are always done well. I've been for cleaning and extensive work, and they always take the same level of care. They are very up front about their policies and cancellation fees, but they have been very forgiving about rescheduling during covid. Most of the staff is really nice. The front desk person never seems very warm in person or on the phone, but she also seems really busy, so she might just be distracted. Katie is an absolute gem, and I'm always happy when I get to work with her!

Edit 3/31/21 - I realized that this Rock Doc Dentistry deserves 5 stars. They quality of care and customer service is so far beyond that of a normal dentist office... or just any business really. I had some unique situations arise twice that required above and beyond customer service on their part and they surpassed what was necessary to ensure I received the care I needed. They are a great group of people, and I highly recommend.

This place is great! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. When I called for a new patient appointment, they told me they didn’t have availability right away. The receptionist noticed my hesitation and asked if I was in pain. I told her I was and she managed to squeeze me in for X-rays that day and saw the dentist the next day. I loved how they thoroughly explain what’s going on and what needs to be done and why. Dr. Herrera is great too and I liked how he kept me updated as he was working... Thanks Rock Doc Dentistry! I’ll make sure to recommend friends and family to you

Dr. Herrera and staff are the great. By far the best dentistry I’ve been too. Lastly the music and atmosphere is super chill. Keep up the great work #bestofthebest

The office staff is friendly, the office is clean, and the doctor made my son feel at ease.
Each appt was on time as well.
