A' Dentistry - John Lee DMD, Dentist Fullerton

I had my first appointment with John Lee, MD, yesterday. His facility has flexible hours which allowed me to get a check up and cleaning without missing any work. My fiance recommended Dr. Lee after I moved to Fullerton last year. She was right about this choice (as she is on most things). At A' Dentistry you will be greeted respectfully from the moment you call for an appointment. The office cleared my insurance before I even arrived for the appointment. I had X-Rays, a check up, and a cleaning completed in under thirty minutes. Dr. Lee does not waste your time, whether you are in the waiting room or in the chair. He is efficient, caring, and will direct you towards taking better care of your teeth. I look forward to continuing my dental health care with Dr. Lee and A' Dentistry.

Always consistent in great services. Dr. Lee is honest and trustworthy. He's takes pride at what he does and provides great care for his patients.

Dr. John Lee and the A' Dentistry Staff are Amazing people! I can't remember the last time i left a dentists office in such a great mood! I normally don't like going to the Dentist. Who does?! But i called yesterday morning right at 9am and the Receptionist answered right away. It only took a few minutes for me to explain why i was calling and before i knew it, i had an appointment set for 11am which was only 2 hrs later. I wasn't expecting to be seen so soon! I was very thankful that they could see me right away! Overall, my appointment was quick and efficient and i left the office really happy that i was no longer in any pain because of Dr.Lee and his staff making my experience so enjoyable.Thank you Dr. Lee & A' Dentistry Staff : ) You Rock!!

John is truly a professional.The visit was comfortable and I was in and out in about 45 minutes.I was referred to Dr Lee by a family member a few years ago and have always gone back for dental needs. he is quick, gentle and i can always expect courteous service.

I was pleasantly surprised how fast and pain-free Dr. Lee worked. I had several extractions performed and was pleased with the results. This practice charges very reasonable rates and maximizes whatever insurance you may have to keep the costs, low.

Excellent as with every visit. The front clerk is always nice, and the Dentist gives great service. He always gives the best advice for my dental health, and never pushes me to make financial decisions that I am not comfortable. I am happy to say that I finally have a dentist for me and my family.

Went here because my dentist was on vacation. My crown had become really loose in front on Thursday night (Dang you popcorn!). Was worried it would fall out, and I would look super Hillbilly. They were open Saturdays. Were highly rated. I called a lot of dentists on Google before settling on this one. They seemed really nice on the phone. Let's do it.

Got there, first thing I noticed was the outside needs a coat of paint badly, to put it lightly. Got a little nervous. Waiting room was decent, but dental rooms are bland, and poorly decorated.

Saw Dr. John S. Lee. No bedside manner whatsoever. Just walked up and started working. Stood behind me talking to the nurse where I couldn't see him, as if I wasn't there. No introduction or pleasantries here. Just straight to work burn-em and turn-em style.

My tooth came right off with a tug. He cleaned it out. Looked at the X-Rays. Said all he could do was re-cement it.. Took 30 seconds. Said the root was too deteriorted... muttered "this isn't going to hold" to the nurse right in front of me.

Then, he explained I would need a 9 month long procedure that required grinding down my jawbone, a fake flapper tooth, and installing a REALLY expensive dental implant. None of which is covered by my PPO insurance. He re-cemented the tooth, which was still as loose when I walked in, as when I walked out.

This all took about 5 minutes. I got my teeth cleaned while I was there. Talked to the woman up front about what the doctor had recommended, and she shot some big numbers at me for the procedure, but let me know they had a payment plan. Said it was Saturday, and she had my email, and would send me the quote, with the breakdown of today's charges included. I left feeling no better, and was stressed that I would need to come up with a couple grand (basically my family summer vacation savings).

Never got that quote FYI.. Not even in my Spam folder. They just billed out against my insurance and I never heard back. Except for an email to rate my experience. Here we are.

Went to my dentist early the next week. He reset the post, reset the crown. My tooth is fine, and it took all of 20 minutes. I had to pay both him and Dr. Lee. My dentist charged much less.

Dr. Lee should have spent 20 minutes to do what he did, and now my insurance is maxed out until January.

I would look elsewhere for a dentist, if I were you.

I just came back from my first visit to A' Dentistry and I am adequately satisfied! After reading the mixed reviews here on Google, I wasn't really sure what to expect from my cleaning and x-rays, but I was not disappointed. The receptionist greeted me immediately upon entering the building-- Friendly, Hospitable, and Efficient. Dr. Lee was standing there talking with her as I walked in, but didn't really acknowledge me right away, which might have felt a little strange, but not too bad. He had a chart in his hand and most likely thought it better to leave us to get settled with paperwork etc. while he finished up.
After filling out my intake papers I only waited about 2 minutes before the receptionist took me to the back and the dental assistant came out to do my X-rays. She was courteous and efficient. The X-rays took about 10 minutes and I was immediately taken to another chair for my cleaning. The doctor said a couple of quick words in greeting including a little joke ("No cavities! Good for you, bad for me." A good joke, but if delivered without enough charisma it could be taken the wrong way...) and we got right into it. Again, a quick and efficient procedure without much conversation beyond "open, close, spit". The dental assistant was... assisting, and it was clearly a very practiced dance between the two of them. Their wordless exchanges got us through the cleaning in under 20 minutes and I was out of there.
Overall, I am happy with my experience at A' Dentistry. I think that Dr. Lee is just an introverted guy who prefers to focus on the work and honor his patients' time rather than make a lot of conversation. I get that because I have a similar philosophy in my work. I would suggest that he spend just a few more moments on his "bedside manner" and make just a bit more conversation, but that is just the kind of service that I, personally, prefer. It helps to put me at ease, especially when I have a stranger poking and prodding around my open mouth!
This was definitely a "lighter" cleaning compared to some others that I've had, but for the price ($110 for full mouth X-rays AND the cleaning) I am certainly not complaining.
4 stars overall and I will be back again in 6-12 months! (6 months was recommended, but I have pretty good genes as far as my teeth are concerned, so I usually space out my cleanings a bit more).

Excellent service.
Dr Lee is a thorough professional and he knows his stuff. He is such a pleasure to work with. I ve already recommended a couple of people and will be taking my husband soon for a check up too.
You must give him a try if u r in this area, and even if u r not, u will not regret the drive..
