I moved back to LA and was hoping to find a dentist who wasn't intimidating and would help me improve my teeth. Dr. Burnett and his team were very nice. They made a 3 step plan to strengthen and do small repairs on my teeth. They also made great recommendations for teeth cleaning products that I could use to better care for my teeth. I highly recommend their services; especially for those like me who have not wanted to go to the dentist for fear of being embarrassed by the dentist about their teeth care.

This was an initial office consultation. Dr. Burnett has such excellent references that I was happy to have found him. He made me feel welcome beyond my expectations. The staff was also friendly, especially the Dental Hygienist. It was a wonderful feeling to have found an African American Dentist who expressed empathy for the community.
My dental health status was explained in detail in a non-judgmental manner. I am hopeful that the treatment prescribed will be successful and I will be able to somehow manage the cost within the perimeters of the current budget.

Received a deep cleaning from Roman this week! I’m usually skittish when having my teeth cleaned, but Roman made the process unlike anything I’ve ever experienced…and I mean that in a good way! His technique was calming, and he explained what he was doing throughout the entire cleaning. Dr. Burnett promised me a painless cleaning, and Roman definitely delivered! He even called me the next day to see how I was doing! When’s the last time your dentist did that? Worth 10 stars!!

My dentist recently retired after being with him for about 20 years so I secured my future services from Dr. Burnett whom I had found for my aunt so that is how I came to know him. As with my aunt, I always found Dr. Burnett to be very thorough in his explanation of treatments as well as educating me through a slow methodical understanding of exactly what is happening to my teeth and gum, why it is happening and what can be done in order to treat and repair and prevent further damage. Dr. Burnett will also explain how to thoroughly clean the mouth in order to prevent a repeat of what he is treating at the present time. I always recommend Dr. Burnett to friends or anyone else who is looking for a dentist because he does take the time to explain everything from A - Z and makes sure you understand what he is educating you on. A friend of mine whom I also recommended visited Dr. Burnett and is now being treated by him and also shares these same views. Never have we seen a dentist take so much time with educating a patient on their treatment. His entire staff is very friendly and takes on the same attitude as the doctor himself; educating the patient and making sure the patient understands what they are doing and his accountants will try to work with you when it comes to billings and payments and last but not least, the offices are very clean and state of the art. A++ on Los Angeles Dental Arts: Theodore Burnett, DDS. Needs 10 stars, not just 5.
