I have been a patient of Dr. Hemingway's for 20+ years. I can honestly say I would never choose a different dental home for myself or my family! Dr. Hemingway is not only a great individual, he also does amazing restorative work! He and his staff are the best of the best. They are always professional, positive, and extremely helpful. The office has a spa like environment! Walking into the office I automatically become relaxed and look forward to taking advantage of all the extra perks (headphones, massage chair, beverages, tv, etc). I would highly recommend Next Dentistry!

I keep getting asked to leave a review so here it goes. I went to NEXT Dentistry for TMJ after struggling for three years to figure out why I was in pain. I had a creepy feeling about this place from the beginning but I was desperate for pain relief. I faithfully followed Dr. Hemingway's method for nine months and was not significantly relieved. Then I started to just go ahead and wean off the device anyway and was feeling better. However, I was not back to the same pain-free life I had almost four years prior. I started seeing a physical therapist for TMJ and he suggested just trying an over the counter mouth guard and it saved my life. For about three weeks now, I've even been wearing this DenTek guard during the day, thanks to covid and working from home. I finally feel like myself again!
I went in for a final follow up with Dr. Hemingway and when I told him what I've been doing I got "well of course the squishy, flexible guard is going to feel better."
I'm sad $15,000 went to Dr. Hemingway instead of taking care of my family. Furthermore, Dr. Hemingway was never up front about how much this would cost. After each phase, he'd tell me the price of the next step and, not having any other answers for my pain, it felt like I had to finish what I started.
I feel very manipulated by this place.
One piece of advice, if anyone from the office reads this: the surveys that a patient fills out at each visit should have them assess how they have felt in the past week or so. Having a survey ask how they feel in that moment is not very accurate because sometimes I had better days than other days.

Charged me $177 for nothing on my first appt. Did not take time explaining things or answering questions. Doctor chats with his assistant on random topics instead of telling what he is doing during my procedure. He did not ask me what material to be used for filling and why choose that material. I am not informed on anything before procedure was done less than 10 minutes. I paid $303 for it.
