My experience at Valley Fair has been very positive. Her staff is friendly and competent. The location is very central and easy to get to. So after I moved from San jose to Cupertino, I have stayed with her.
Dr. Ghazanfari has been taking care of my teeth since 2006. She works hard to explain all my of options and goes out of her way to keep the procedure painless and comfortable. To give an example, she anesthetizes the injection point so I do not feel the needle and applies vaseline so my lips do not feel dry during the treatment.
I have seen a few other dentists in the past. She is dedicated to preserving my own teeth and has ben successful at it. In couple of occassions, based on past experience, I was convinced I was going to need a root canal or an implant. She took care of my problems with just a filling and by replacing the crown.
Overall, she is the best dentist I have ever had. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, I did not a have a good experience. I am new to San Jose, and was seeking a great dentist. I called to schedule an appointment, gave them my insurance information and everything was perfect, however when I mentioned their free whitening for new patients-- the receptionist said, "we no longer accept your insurance, bye" and hung up. First, I felt ashamed for asking her about their promotions, but I quickly realized how rude and disrespectful that was. If this is how they take care of their patients, then I do not desire to be taken care of by them. Now, I am currently being seen by Dr. Kini and they're amazing.

I had to have 10 fillings replaced and crowns put in, search other places and this is by far the best deal I found. Dr. Swathi Upadhyaya and her team was very professional and did an amazing job for a great price, I would defiantly recommend her to all my friends and family.
