I went in today for a first time patient exam/consultation. I arrived on time for my 2:30 appointment and they didn’t get me in until 3ish. Then they started doing xrays, but once all my teeth were looked at the doctor said there is no time to tell me what is wrong with my teeth and refused to tell me which teeth needed fillings. They said they didn’t have enough time b/c they close at 4, so I would have to make another appointment just for them to tell me if I have a cavity or not.
I have been to many dentists and taken my child to many dentists and not once has that ever happened.
It was just a complete waste of time and I won’t be going back.
The only reason this got 2 stars and not one is b/c the assistant and front desk check in people were friendly.

I came to Santa Maria to visit family from AZ when my crown fell out. I called SBFD on Tuesday night and they were able to get me in the following day.
Come to find out my crown fell out along with some of my tooth Dr. Hobie and his fantastic team were able to rebuild my tooth and put a new crown on the same day saving Thanksgiving. I would highly recommend them and I believe I will be traveling here for any future dental work that may be needed.
