Alex H. Nguyen, DDS - Saratoga Dentist

If you are seeking a well-rounded skilled dentist who is trustworthy and deeply caring, Alex is THE ONE. I was a dental professional once and I know how hard it is to find a satisfying dentist. Alex and his team really impressed me with every step of each procedure in so many ways. I came to Alex for a 2nd opinion on my upper molar treatment, ended up making a much better decision with such a happy result. It was the very first crown for my mouth which was nerve wrecking but Alex's work made me feel so safe and comfy during and after the procedure. I'm looking forward to my next appointment with him!

I do not think that my review is going to adequately express my appreciation for Dr. Nguyen and his staff.

The bottom line: Dr. Nguyen and his team make me excited about having a prettier smile. This is something I've hoped for since I was 11.

I NEVER thought I would enjoy going to the dentist. Holy cow. I feel so lucky to have found them. I found them on yelp. You should probably ignore whatever negative was written, I don't have the experience that Dr. Nguyen would leave any client/patient "hanging". He is certainly committed to his craft and doing a great job for people.

They have far exceeded my wants and expectations from a dental team. In fact all I was hoping for was a dentist that wouldn't make me feel bad while I sat in the chair and who would fix my teeth. It has been incredibly hard to get me to go to the dentist because I get so much anxiety due to past dental visits as well as it appeared cost prohibitive. I also kept putting everyone else's needs a head of mine. :-/

Here's what I got out of being a patient of Dr. Nguyen and his amazing staff:

- Open, educational conversations about my teeth
- Help in making choices. Learning long term implications about dental health (i.e. If I chose to deal with my teeth THIS way, these would be the long term consequences, if I chose THAT way, this would be the long term consequences)
- High quality level of care (based on 4 visits)
- I feel taken care of as a client before, during, and after my visits
- Working with a highly confident and competent dental staff
- I had the experience of everyone in the office being well rounded, generous, super easy to talk to and enjoyable
- Dr. Nguyen is incredibly peaceful to be around
- I didn't feel judged for the state of my teeth (crowding and cavities)
- I look forward to visiting their office because they're just really cool people

Rock on Dr. Nguyen for envisioning a different kind of office, a different kind of dental experience, and picking a great group of people to support you in that vision. Who know going to the dentist would feel zen? Score.

Dr. Alex is the only dentist I've ever actually looked forward to seeing! He is, easily and without doubt, the best dentist I've ever been to. Not only is he very friendly and extremely professional, he has world-class skills.

Professionally speaking, Dr. Alex in a league of his own, and yet he never talks down to his patients and you can tell that he is genuinely listening when you tell him your concerns about your teeth. Many doctors can be distracted or aloof, and will merely give the impression that they're listening without really caring. Not Dr. Alex; the man cares and you can tell.

Furthermore, his staff is always kind, approachable and professional. In fact, the entire office is suffused with a calming energy. From the moment you walk in the door, you'll know you've come to the right place.

Beautiful zen office. Amazing staff who have been there for years. They truly care about their patients. I had to cancel an appointment and the next availability wasn't for another 6 months. However, Stacey called me a few weeks later to let me know there was an opening for my desired day because someone else had canceled. Even offered water at the beginning of my appointment!

I refer everyone I possibly can to Dr. Nguyen and team! I’ve Searched high and low for both for the BEST dentist to reach both my cosmetic and medical dental needs and goals!!
I used to fly back-and-forth to Beverly Hills to a celebrity dentist. But my honest opinion Is that Dr. Nguyen and team provide the most stellar results and patient care that I stopped having to travel to my former dentist.

I just completed my first consultation with Dr. Nguyen, I am very impressed as he diagnosed a problem my regular dentist has been puzzled for couple of years. He will not only give me a perfect smile, but also the root cause, the severe grinding problem. He has lots of experience with tetracycline pigmentation of teeth which is my case.

The way his office make the porcelain veneer is almost like an art. Very realistic, I have total confidence in him after the the visit. I've been postponing this for 20 years, finally made up my mind. I regretted not seeing him sooner.

Just left Dr. Alex office, and yet again I felt like family. I have been seeing Dr. Nguyen for over 8+ years, and the one thing that he gave me back was my smile!

When he was recommended to me, I had gone and had veneers put on my teeth by another dentist. When the veneers went on they were yellow, big and well I looked like I had gopher teeth. My brother is a dentist, but lives in Atlanta, GA. I went home and let him look at them, and he said you need to get them fixed....they were awful.

This is where Dr. Alex comes in...an amazing dentist and someone who gave me my SMILE back. Now when I went to see him it was not a short process, because Alex is a perfectionist, an artist and a very, very talented cosmetic dentist. How I was lucky enough to have found him...I am thankful everyday when I see my smile. He was meticulous in the steps he took to right the horrible wrong to my teeth. And he didn't cut corners either. The temporaries looked really good as well, so you don't mind walking around why he does his perfectionist work in the background.

He is very hard on his labs, and accepts only the best for his patients. He even told me that when the veneers came in, if they did not meet his specifications, he would be rescheduling my appointment and making the lab do them over. That happened 3 times, and on the 3rd I got my new smile!!!!

Given the awful experience I had leading up to the final product, I was still petrified to have the real deal done, as once they are cemented there is no turning back. Alex was so wonderful reassuring me that he wouldn't permanently put anything in my mouth that didn't meet his standard of perfection. Perfection is what I know have in my smile now, and I travel from Morgan Hill to Saratoga twice a year to see the entire office, who I LOVE, to get my teeth cleaned. Today was another great day spent with a dental office and a dentist that I recommend to everyone...especially if you want to change your smile and have the most gorgeous teeth in California! Just left the dentist office: wonderful caring staff and a well organised office. We recently moved the entire family over and are very happy! Dr Alex Nguyen and his staff are a real benchmark how modern dentist office should be run. Dr. Nguyen is definitely the best dentist I have been too and I highly recommend him and his team.

Dr. Nguyen is caring, creative, thorough and up to date on the latest dental techniques. I have transitioned my entire family over to his care and have referred friends and friends of friends. He applies the same high level of professionalism to basic dental care as to complicated reconstructive procedures. This excellent care is also provided by his staff from office administration (billing) to the hygienist.
Our family has had several complicated dental procedures performed which required both billing insurance and providing flex spending documentation. The dental procedures were done flawlessly and the billing and paperwork completed without complication.
You will appreciate his warm demeanor as well as his talent as a skilled dentist. It’s very comforting to find a medical professional with all these fine qualities.
