Though Dr. Amy and her dental staff are great Summit Dental’s business practices are worst than a used car dealer. I went in for some dental work and was told the price for the service. I paid the $140 and 3 weeks later I received a bill say I owed an additional $410. When I asked about that price the receptionist said the insurance company downgraded the payment. When I called the insurance company what actually happened was Dr. Amy used a material that wasn’t covered and I was not told she planned on using it. All the receptionist told me was “Well you signed the paperwork” which I signed after the procedure. This office uses very deceptive business practices so beware if you plan on doing business with them. I know I won’t get a response from this post because they will not respond unless you give them 5 stars.

Had my first appointment at summit dental, and its safe to say I wont ever be going anywhere else! I get really nervous and anxious about going to the dentist, and they made me feel so comfortable! Everyone from the receptionist, to the main dentist lady (don't really know what her professional title is haha) was so nice, and makes you feel right at home!

So I definitely wouldn’t normally write a review. If I don’t like something I just go somewhere else and move on but guys...I just had several fillings in sept and October taken care of after I had my baby and my husband had a deep root cleaning. My husband had a shot during one of these visits by the hygienist and he has permanent numbness in his lower jaw. That scared me, so we switched offices. I went to our new office which I LOVE and he told me he would need to replace one of those fillings I just had done. I scheduled to get it done in April as that was there first available appt, and a week later (today) while I was water flossing, the filling FELL OUT!! I now have a hole in my tooth. 😳 everyone there was super nice but I just don’t think they did a very good job with the work done. They talked ALOT during my treatments. Which is ok, unless things aren’t being done up to par. They also overcontoured one of fillings that my new dentist will be fixing. Hate to complain but honestly just want people to know. A lot of money was spent there, I won’t be asking for money back. Just want things done right 🤷♀️

People were nice enough, and did a fine job. My complaint is that they did procedures that weren't covered by my insurance, and didn't get my permission first. Not a big fan of receiving unexpected bills in the mail. When I called to clarify, they said that they "can't possibly know what insurance will and won't cover", and made no attempt to make the situation right. Time to find a new dentist.

I cannot recommend Summit Dental enough. Especially if you are someone who is leery of the dentist (for no good reason, lol). When I moved to CO I stopped going to the dentist because I didn't have one out here that I knew and had been going to same office my whole life back home. Until it because a problem and I was referred to Summit by a coworker. Dr Trujillo and her team are amazing, work around your quirks, and make you feel really comfortable. With their help I've got my teeth back in good shape and keeping it that way. I would drive out of my way to continue going to Summit Dental

Summit Dental with Dr Amy and crew have been servicing us many, many years now. They have always been there to meet any of our dental needs. and will go above service to help achieve what course was necessary. I had a root canal done several years back and they guided me right through it.

Personable, pleasant staff. Excellent work. This time around I had a teeth cleaning and whitening and the experience was nothing less than superb. No pain, timely service and the whitening appeared to whitening the teeth 4 shades whiter before leaving the office. Now they are substantially whiter and I love it.
