I went here for a simple filing. They took over an hour for the xray. Then he tried to sell me a crown when I just need a filing because I have insurance. Based on my experiences with other dentists, Dr. Crandall seemed more focused with selling work that did not need to be performed. I know this because I had another dentist tell me I just need a filing. I only chose comfort because of same day appointment. Wasted almost 2 hours to do nothing. Shop around first.

They got me in 20 min after I called for an emergency visit about a tooth in serious pain. (All the other dentists I called where scheduled days and sometimes weeks out) paper work was simple, staff was super nice. Assistant took quick gentle x rays. Dentists walked in to talk to me no more than 10 min after the x rays where taken and was confident what to do next. I got some RX to bring the infection down and now it's no longer an emergency. I'll be dealing with the rest of it soon but this visit was perfect for me. A real life saver. Thank you comfort dental.

Do not go here! I was waiting in the waiting for an hour and when I was finally seen it was a different dentist than I was scheduled with. I was there for a cleaning and I left without my teeth even being touched by anyone! Was told I need prior authorization for anything to be done. They said they would reach out to my insurance and call me to schedule everything. Guess what 5 months later NO call. I was supposed to be a new patient as they are the only ones that take my insurance. I will not be going back to this office. Would give zero stars if I could! Horrible office!

These people are AMAZING. I have severe, debilitating dental-phobia. Clench the chair, hold your breath, got the shakes kinda scenario. Anyway, Dr. Crandall in particular has some serious charm and is very caring; not to mention has done great work, quickly and communicates with ease. The dental assistants are really wonderful people too. They’ve all done nothing but excellent work on my husband and I. I live in Pagosa and travel here for a few reasons, but mostly because I feel more comfortable at this dental office than I have any other in a long time.

Came in for a tooth extraction. Very great service! Absolutely the easiest extraction that I have ever had! Quick and easy with no pain! Excellent staff! Dr. Crandall is very courteous and knowledgeable. Jalea was an excellent Dental Tech. I highly recommend Comfort Dental to my friends and family.
