I have always hated going to the dentist but Dr Stuckey and his staff have changed that. I have had dentures for over 5 years and have hated them. They took away my original smile and I was constant in pain. Dr Stuckey replaced by dentures and gave me back my smile. His insurance staff is amazing and work very hard dealing with insurance to get you the best payments they can. Assistants and all staff great. Very easy to work with, make you comfortable and take away the anxiety to make it a great experience. I work strongly recommend this office. Thank you Dr Stuckey

I’ve been to many dentists. Joe Stucky and team at Soft Touch Dentistry were above and beyond my expectations. Truly a 5 Star service. Two appointments and I received a smile I’ve wanted for a very long time. Joes assistant Alexi and teams dedication, exceptional knowledge, professionalism and positive energy made this experience most memorable. Thank you for my new smile. I notice when people post a negative review, The Soft Touch dental team comment that the review is fraudulent. Please take this post and all other posters positive or negative feedback into consideration. Your health is more important than their reputation. I went to Dr. Stucky a few times without issues. His staff was always friendly. I ended my patient relationship with him A few years ago, but may be relavant. This is fact base review. The hygienist cleaned the front half of my teeth and told me to schedule in six months (yes, months) to clean the back half, and said it didn't matter because people only see the front half. I got charged full price ( I was a self pay patient, so if I had been insured it would be fraudulent billing). my current dentist also discovered that he filled a cavity that didn't need it. They did similar with my mom. Cleaned the right half of her mouth and told her to come back in six months for the other half. So my advice is to ask if they will be cleaning all of your teeth, and justify if you need a feeling, or to watch a spot.

You feel like part of the family here! Everyone is so kind and helpful. Dr Stucky”s work is top notch. I had implants, then moved out of state, each time I go to the dentist here In my new state of Georgia, the Doc”s marvel over my new teeth and how they were done. They all say, best they’ve ever seen, and to fly back when I need my upper implants. Thank you Dr Stucky and Samantha and all the staff! I look forward to flying back for my uppers!

Went to him for many years, not a great dentist, especially when he started to do things that I was unsure of. Claimed I had a lot of “problems” that I really wasn’t experiencing. Went through several procedures even though I had my doubts because you are supposed to trust your dentist . . . right? Then there was a big “problem” with my molars that had just come in. Anyways as always when he started the procedure he said “tell me if I am feeling any pain.” Well after awhile I started to feel some pretty sharp pain. So I told him and he said that he was almost done and that I could hold on a little longer, 15 minutes later I was still in pain and he still wouldn’t stop, the procedure continued for a little longer and by the end I was afraid of getting anymore work done. That was the last time he did a procedure on me, but he would still harass me about refusing treatment. Eventually, l moved to a different dentist and found out that the his big procedure cracked my two molars and to repair them I had to get crowns. So I would not recommend him, seems nice but there are some shady things going on at his office anymore.

I believe my dad is incredible at what he does (and apparently so do a ton of other people due to the constant complements I get on my smile!!). However, because I have a bit of a biased towards the dentist, I will talk a little about his staff instead. I have mostly had the opportunity to work with Eugenia and Kirstie. Both of those ladies are kind, gentle, PRFOESSIONAL, and fantastic at their job. I have always left the office feeling taken care of. I know I am always in good hands with his staff.

What I like about Dr. Stucky is that even though he has the latest greatest approach to dentistry, he is still very accepting of my wanting some of the old fashioned approach, such as a removable false tooth. I am 84 and glad to have a choice between the new and the old. Also, his staff are super friendly and helpful.

Caring and attentive dentist and staff. Very pleased with the overall experience. Felt very good about my cleaning and xrays. I have a gap in my upper left molar area that leaves me with a food collection problem. Dr. Stucky recommended an implant but told me it was up to me and price quoted the implant for me. Will possibly go with this if it continues to be an aggravation. I would definitely recommend Dr. Stucky and team to any of my friends or family in Montrose.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO DR. STUCKY FOR DENTAL WORK!!!!! I took my 7 year old daughter to Dr. Stucky for two molar extractions (and more dental work). At our first appointment, the office staff told me that it is Dr. Stucky's mandate that NO parents are allowed in the room with the child while the dental work is being performed. I informed them that we would find another dentist then, and they said they would have to ask Dr. Stucky and that it MIGHT be o.k. for me to be in the room. I believe the only reason he allowed me to be in the room, was because we were having $2,000 worth of dental work done and because I threatened to leave otherwise. On our first appointment, he became HIGHLY agitated when my daughter began crying while he was pulling her tooth. He raised his voice and yelled at her for crying. I thought to myself against my better judgement that we should give him one more chance (maybe he was just having a bad day). At our second appointment, he pulled a 2nd tooth and again he began screaming at my daughter when she began crying, making the situation even worse! It put me in a horrible position because he was in the middle of pulling my daughter's tooth AND SCREAMING, so I couldn't say anything! Unfortunately, I made the mistake of STILL wanting to finish the work since we were only 1/2 way through everything, and I had already paid him the $2,000. So, I called his office and very respectfully informed his staff that we would be back, but I wanted to make sure that he wouldn't yell at my daughter again. Dr. Stucky personally called me back and proceeded to yell at me. He then extorted another $50 from me for impressions that he said I would be able to use at another dentists office, which turned out to be a lie. My daughter is now scared to death to go to the dentist because she thinks she's going to get yelled at again. THIS MAN IS HORRIBLE WITH CHILDREN! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE FOR DENTISTRY

This is not a fraudulent post. This happened to me.

He is not some one to trust with your health or anything that you hold dear.
I was a patient very briefly which resulted in massive damage to my gum tissue.

The hole story from start to finish.
At the time I was a student at CSU in Fort Collins I normally saw the on campus dentist. I was fairly depressed at the time which probably made me more of a target. I came home to Montrose to visit family during that time I decided to get my teeth cleaned Joe Stucky was recommended to me by a family member. So I scheduled an appointment and went in while on the examination chair another assistant came up to me to have me sign something for a gum exam at a very low cost I said ok and signed. That is when I met Stucky he came in and started poking around my mouth and putting this cream like stuff in my gums. At one point I actually felt my gums tare from my teeth. I went back to CSU and saw the dentist there he asked what happen to my gum?

This person is dangerous, I would not be surprised if he has killed people directly or indirectly through his actions.

Run away from him!!!!
