I was extremely pleased with my visit to Sangre DeCristo dental. I had a lot of work done in one appointment including extractions. The nurses,Reagan and Taylor are very efficient and pleasant to work with. They made me very comfortable and confident in the procedures I was about to receive. I changed dental offices because of a bad experience and I am glad I did. I highly recommend the folks at Sangre DeCristo.

I made an appointment back in May 2021. Was told that they would get me in as a new patient on a Friday to work with my schedule. I made an appointment for my husband, he was seen as a new patient. After his appointment I received a call canceling my appointment, saying they could not accommodate my schedule. In October I decided to give them another chance. Made an appointment to get established, cleaning and exam. Once again got a call the day of my appointment telling me the doctor was leaving early and that I would have to reschedule… AGAIN. I haven’t even been seen in this clinic yet and have had nothing but a bad experience. My husband will not be returning as we will both be looking for a more professional Dental office.

The staff and dentist were awesome. They were so friendly from speaking on the phone to the very end of my appointment. They told me step by step what they were doing and they let me explain all my concerns. They pulled up all my insurance explained to me how much they would and wouldn’t cover on some of the things I needed done in detail and they scheduled my next appointment right away . They make you feel comfortable and satisfied with your visit.

Dr Harger is a very thoughtful, and more than competent dentist. If some of your front office people had any bit of concern for the patients and their needs, I would give you 5 stars. I started seeing Dr Harger in September and was billed for a composit that was done by a dentist that had been there previously. It had fallen out and Dr. Harger said he would replace it for free. I told the front end and after paying over $7000.00 they still won't remove the charge. They want to see what the insurance is willing to pay. If they get the insurance to pay for something that wasn't supposed to be charged for, that is fraud, plain and simple. And if not, I will not pay for the composit that Dr.Harger was doing for free.
In addition, my husband had 2 appointments scheduled for deep cleaning. We called to get information about the procedure and about the specific charges. We were told someone would call to answer our questions. That never happened. My husband is scheduled with another dentist office as a result.
I am no longer going to be a patient at Sangre de Cristo Dental Care.
