Dr Santos is very thorough! My first visit was great, they took X-rays, and he didn’t try and push services or work on me that was not necessary! My family will all be coming here for our dental needs. I definitely recommend this dentist and office!

Love this place! You feel very welcome and at home as soon as you walk in the door. Beach decor is relazing and staff is so caring, you can tell they love what they do. So bad with names but I think it was Jessica, cleaned my teeth twice this year and made it seem effortless. Makes me wanna go back monthly but luckily I don’t need too 👍🏻

Loved it! One of the main reasons is that it's right across the street from where I live… I love easy peasy🤗 The office is beautiful and welcoming, the staff is very friendly and caring. Dr. Kanach is very charming and puts you at ease immediately. I had an excellent check up and cleaning. Will definitely make Clearwater Dentistry my go-to for all my dental needs

TL;DR: I found them lacking in organization to handle my specific request to have a cleaning my first visit. I’m also suspicious as to why I couldn’t get a simple cleaning yet they had the time to quote me for all this extra dental work. Even if it is with the best of intentions, wouldn’t you want to build a little rapport with me first?
I recently needed to switch dentists and let some time lapse in finding a new one. I called Clearwater Dentistry because of the good Google reviews. On the initial call, I specifically asked to set up a cleaning. It was overdue, and I am very busy, making it hard for me to find time to leave the house for multiple appointments.
During my first visit, not only did they say they didn’t have the time to do the cleaning but also they gave me a $3,000 quote for some superficial veneer work on my bottom teeth. So I went all the way there for Xrays and an “exam,” which basically comprised the doctor looking in my mouth for 15 seconds. The whole thing took 20 minutes, and I was forced to leave with a card for another appt. later down the road for the cleaning. What made me a bit more upset was I literally had left my new, three-day-old baby and wife to get this overdue, long-time scheduled cleaning appointment out of the way only to find out they had overbooked themselves and I had to schedule another appt. for the actual cleaning I Initially requested.
As I then decided Clearwater Dentistry was not the best dentist office for me, I decided to pursue other dentists in the area to conduct my cleaning (all in one visit). To my chagrin, my insurance notified me that Clearwater Dentistry used up the one exam they cover for every 6 months, meaning I either have to come out of pocket for any initial exam at another dentist or go back to them to try to, hopefully, actually get a cleaning.
When I later asked Clearwater Dentistry to waive the exam so that I could have it performed somewhere else (but keep the X-ray charge as that was transferable), they refused.
