Dr. Santana is an artist. He is very careful with his work and meticulous. Is staff is wonderful, all accomplished in their own right — strong Latino women. What’s also wonderful is that if you do not speak Spanish they will always speak English around you to include you in their conversations. Bottom line, you feel safe and on good hands. I recommend them highly!

It was totally a disastrous experience with Dr Santana on my 4/26/22 visit. I was scheduled to do a filling on one of my teeth on the left side at 3pm. After over 45 minutes wait, Dr Santana rushed in and told me anesthesia was needed. Shot was given before i realized it was on the wrong side. I informed the doctor and he did another shot on the intended side as well as the filling. Something was very wrong as the swelling on my right face kept getting worse even numbness on my left side started to go down. Dr Santana told me i didn’t need to worry and it would go away soon. The swelling on the right face was so bad I mentioned it to the nurse and I also complained to the front desk girl when paying for the filling. From the time I left the office till around midnight that day, my swelling and pain on my right face was so bad that in the first couple of hours I could not properly spell some words or eat/drink. Most the swelling and pain was gone by the next day so when the Dr called in the early afternoon I told him what happened; however, my right cheek was still noticeably swelling with a lumpy shape that makes my face looked uneven, which has not improved when I got up today and my right face remained lumpy and swelling ( feels like the cheek was injected into directly ) with some pain; So I called Dr Santana and visited him again in the afternoon. He acknowledged the problem and his mistake of injecting me on the wrong side, but insisted there was no possibility the anesthesia was injected into my face; nonetheless, he had no answer or fix other than asking me to wait for another 2 weeks to see the problem would go away. I have had numerous anesthesia due to my my previous dental works (including teeth on my right side) and had never had any problem. It is to say at least that I was so disappointed.
A follow up to my review above: Dr Santana notified me over the phone that both my husband and I would be “dismissed “ from his dental office because he didn’t like my Google review, even though he agreed that what I wrote was nothing but 100% truth. Additionally, Over multiple calls and in-person in his office, Dr Santana promised to take full responsibility for his mistake; however, my request for him to put that in writing via email or text that he would reimburse me for any possible related medical cost beyond my insurance’s coverage, has had no response to date. Where is his professionalism, honesty and integrity??

Just want to give a big Thank You to Carmen Vivez the hygienist at Optimum Dentistry. She is gentle, kind and does a wonderful job cleaning your teeth. I highly recommend her services to everyone!!!! Six stars!!!
I went in with a broken crown and Dr. Santana and his wonderful staff took the best care of me that I have ever had. I have recommended Optimum Dentistry to everyone I know because of their professionalism, kindness, caring and their compassionate way of doing business. This is how all dentists should be!!!!!!! I am giving them 6 stars as 5 is not enough!!!!!

Amazing 🤩 experience! Front desk was very pleasant and polite and the dentist assistant was also amazing, not to mention that Dr.Santana was very pleasant and informed me of my condition. They even went above and beyond to call me the day after to make sure that I was ok and or if I had any questions or concerns. Please you guys keep up the good work and I’ll definitely recommend this office to anyone I know who needs a dentist. I’m highly satisfied with service that I received at Optimum dentistry. This is the best dentist office ive been too. Doctor is great very professional and the ladies in the office as well very kind and they all work to help you out. I had a bad tooth ache that needed to be removed and they did everything possible to get me taken care of. This will now be my dentist

Optimum Dentistry offers a very comfortable environment with brand new, state of the art dental equipment and a friendly atmosphere. If you asked me what is my greatest fear? It would be going to the dentist. I’m a huge baby when it comes to my teeth. I’m so glad I found Optum Dentistry because Dr. David Santana and his staff are the best. I highly recommend them for your next dental visit. They’re awesome 😎
