This was my original office but I switched to the Normandy office after my hygienist (Shannon) left (loved her). I came back for a 2nd opinion for a toothache. The office atmosphere has changed, I was called in almost immediately, x-rays done & waited about 20 minutes for Dr. (not bad). Dr. Truong explained the next course of action in a way that put me at ease & I appreciate that. The front desk was really efficient & professional I think I'm transferring back to the Cedar Hill office.

Very good doctors and assistants but i can not say the same for the front office lady. Waiting for 6 months and now she canceled my appointment just because of 5 minutes late. Now i have to wait for 4 more months for my son's teeth cleaning.

Sorry for my orthography, my English is not very well.

Let me start off by saying, I only give reviews when I receive amazing service or very bad service, that being said this experience was terrible. When I arrived I was told that my INS isn't accepted here, which I thought would have been told to me when I booked the appts for my kids and I months ago. I decided to pay OOP because I had already left work early for the appt and I hadn't had my teeth cleaned since April of last year, before I moved to Jax. I take great care of my teeth, so I wasn't too worried. Next, I was told that the cleaning had been canceled, due to the Hygienist being on vacation and that the OM Kesha was the one one made the calls on 11.30.22......never received a call or vcmail and of course she wasn't there, so I asked for her info. Finally, I was seen and had xrays taken, the DA was good and then the Dr. Was quick, but ok...the wait was way longer then the exam🙄. They ended up being able to get me in on the Hygiene side and I wish I would have just left at that point, but I really did want to get my teeth clean. She started off polishing my teeth before she even touch them with her Hygiene tools😭. I wanted to stop right there, but I thought maybe, just maybe her style is a little different. She then took a tool and started cleaning very little and then she flossed my teeth and we were done. I was so upset that this lady just played in my mouth and that I had to pay private pay for this terrible cleaning. Here's the grand finale.....I left, forgot I didn't get a to-go Hygiene goody bag and went back in, just to find out that the Hygienist didn't know what the front desk girl was referring to, when she told her I didn't receive a bag. 😫 The front desk girl assisted her in the back to try and put a bag together, just for me to get in my car and look in the bag to see that I was given a child's toothbrush, kids toothpaste, no floss and some listerine. I would have to say this was one of those moments where the joke was definitely on me.🤦🏾‍♀️ Needless to say, I wont be returning and I don't know if I'll let my kids keep their appts either, however they would have a different team.

I went in on Jan. 17th for my son's cleaning at a 8 a.m. appointment, when I got there they told me that my son's cleaning had already been done on Dec. 16th I told them how?, when we went in on the 16th it was for a severe tooth pain, all they told me that day of the 16th was he had tooth trauma and nothing showed an infection. On the 17th Jan they then told me that they did it then, no one told me anything and that they had billed my insurance already but that they were going to keep me on the schedule to speak to the doctor about it. When she came in it was hard for me to understand her also the medical assistant as their english is super broken and she started to lecture me on how I should have been in the room in Dec. when they always tell the parent to sit outside in the waiting room even if you try to go in. She said that there was a miscommunication on there part, but it wasn't it was NO communication. Not to mention the ladies in the front desk are always complaining to each other about their job as both times I went in I had to hear this. This place is not professional at all!!

The patient service department shows extremely poor customer service. I have been communicating back and forth with Aaron in regards to a refund for several months now and we are already in the new year and this issue is still not resolved.I requested to receive refund in check form due to not being comfortable with releasing card information over phone. Aaron stated after talking with his supervisor they can send the refund check form and they will get the process started and have it mailed out. Per our last conversation I did not hear nor receive anything.I emailed aaron asking for an update. On 12/16/22 he stated currently waiting to hear back from the check processing department about check request he has made and they have been backed up. I then emailed again asking for an update on 1/3/23. He finally responded back on 1/19/23 stated due to the payment being made by credit card they are only able to process a card refund. That if I would like to receive check I will need to go in office and fill out a request for a check instead. When in the beginning he stated that it wouldn’t an issue to send the refund check form. I then called great expressions this morning 1/19 in regards to Aaron’s email and was told according to there records patient services did issue a check refund and sent it out on Dec 12th? I am not understanding why I keep getting the run around and being told something completely different by multiple people. Why wasn’t I made aware of this check being sent out and giving tracking information? AGAIN we are already in the new year and I still do not have what is owed to me. This has been going on since Aug of last year. I have been calling patient services all day and can not get ahold of anybody to get this issue resolved.

I was referred to this location by my regular GE office for my son’s braces. They have a hard time answering the phone in orthodontics so if you want to speak with someone about anything, good luck. No point in leaving a message either. It won’t be returned. Don’t ask me to email (see other review responses) because I already have. No response as of yet. I will update my review if things improve.

Update: The office staff is getting better about answering the phone.

I have never been a fan of the dentist. This place is very professional, from reception to completion. Staff is great and make you feel very comfortable. If this was the type of service, comfort and care I received when I was younger, I would have had less reservations about seeing a dentist! Thank you guys so much.

Horrible customer service from every front lady they ever have. I don’t know what their problem is always having an attitude. I ask a simple question and get sass in return. They never know anything and when they do they make excuses as to why they can’t do it today and you gotta come back 1-3 weeks….. like makes no sense. I highly recommend to not come spend your hard earned money with these people, the doctors are great- but sadly you only get 15-20 mins with them. The rest of the time you deal with horrible customer service and “stank eyes”. Even when you call, they never know anything useful and like I said- attitude. If I could I’d give it a 0 star rating.
