I went in for a standard cleaning appt. I had not been to the dentist since before COVID. I arrive on time, but they take me back 30 minutes after my scheduled appt time (“trouble verifying insurance”only to find out they never actually verified my benefits)
They did X-rays and the dentist did his quick little exam. Then I was told there’s no hygienist on staff so I’d have to come back for a cleaning. No other locations in the area have cleaning appts available for months out. A couple weeks go by…
Now I get a bill for the X-rays because they did a full mouth series instead of the standard check up X-rays and my insurance has denied payment due to the dental office not checking when I last had a full mouth series done!!! Never was I asked to provide my previous X-rays. And no effort was made on GE’s part to obtain my previous records. When I call to speak with billing, I get transferred to an office in ATLANTA!?!
Performing unnecessary services for the sake of financial gain is FRAUD.

They sent me an email that gave me the wrong address for my appointment. It was an hour away. Then I had to drive a half hour to where they are.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff! Dr. Truong was amazingly friendly and patient and made the entire appointment comfortable and relaxing, which is unheard of at the dentist! I am now a lifelong patient!

Medicare Clients with managed care insurance companies, BEWARE ! My policy states I can have one filling per calendar year for minimal copay. Upon arriving at this business and being seen by Dentist Truong, an assessment and care routine was discussed. The Dentist, the Assistant and Office clerk who handles insurance claims ALL stated that my coverage would take care of multiple fillings if they were done in one visit. I had each person check the coverage as I was skeptical but they assured me that I could have as many Fillings done as I choose and it would be covered if I did it on ONE VISIT. I have never had a dentist offer to fill multiple teeth involving all four quadrants of my mouth for the sake of convenience but I went along with her suggestion to save time and money. Just over six months later I received a bill for $928 for all but one filling as my insurance was “ one filling per year” at no charge. They waited over six months to bill me which coincidentally, is a violation of insurance statute of limitations for filing a grievance. I have spent the last several months appealing the charges with my insurance company and will, regardless the outcome, escalate my grievance to Medicare Board. Furthermore, if you will look up the Better Business Bureau as it pertains to Great Expressions Dental Inc, you will learn they have volumes of complaints regarding billing and general customer service complaints. One person can make a clerical error but when three employees tell you the wrong information, it becomes difficult to claim “ignorance”. I’m convinced that thousands of senior citizens have been mishandled by GED and most just pay the bill to avoid having their credit score hit as GED has done to me. The fight will continue as I will not let this go for the sake of other senior citizens.

Love my hygienist Shanon. She is so friendly and knowledgeable and also very thorough and does an excellent job with cleanings - no plaque build-up or tartar spots left behind! The office staff is pleasant and efficient, never quibbling over a few minutes here or there should I ever run late. Due to some issues that developed I had to go on a more frequent cleaning schedule about a year or so ago but have seen a marked improvement in my overall dental health such that I may soon be able to revert to my usual bi-annual preventive visits. Very pleased with my overall treatment plan and the care and advice I’ve received.

It's always a great experience at Great Expressions Dental. My dental hygienist Colleen is so awesome! She's very thorough with her work and we always have a lot of laughs. Always refreshing to see her with her warm personality. The office is always clean and the staff is professional.

I had a very enjoyable visit today. I was greeted by a welcoming and friendly staff during check-in. My appointment was timely, l didn’t have too wait long in the waiting room before staff called me for my appointment time. Also, l was very satisfied with the service l received from my hygienist Mrs. Nina. She was friendly,knowledgeable,and meticulously cleaned my teeth with care and skill. My teeth feel and look great! I look forward to my next dental visit!

DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE IF YOU DON’T WANT YOUR TIME WASTED. IM TELLING YOU DONT DO IT TOO YOURSELF YOU’LL REGRET IT! RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, AND THEY DO NOT CARE THAT YOUR CHILD IS IN PAIN. Go To GREENBURG DENTAL down the street! I will say that my very first experience was pleasant it was my daughters first time coming to the dentist but she ended up seeing a Doctor Who was pregnant at the time so when she had to come back for her procedure and that doctor was not going to be there due to maternity leave. There is a doctor cool that works there that will not see your child if they start crying, they look nervous, or they’re acting like they don’t want to be there(scared). Then had the nerve to tell me it’s my fault my daughters teeth are hurting when he has no idea what happened to her teeth. Rude and disrespectful! I have scheduled an appointment with his doctor twice and has had my time wasted both times. My daughter is five years old and had to have a procedure done to her tooth because her teeth are hurting. they did not even touch her or look at her teeth before they were telling me to reschedule because she started crying. They work with children so I don’t know what they expect. I don’t know any toddler that will be excited to go to the dentist. I don’t even like going to the dentist; no one does! Dr. Cool is a joke. They Literally walked in the room was talking to me and she started crying because she was nervous and didn’t want to be there. Then they tell me I have to reschedule an appointment at Wilson’s to have my daughters procedure completed so they can put her to sleep. I already made two appointments here and I told the receptionist at the front that my daughter is five years old and she’s going to be nervous and they even cry. They waste your time. And probably just want to bill your insurance even though no services were performed. They sent my daughter home still in pain because they don’t care. I took off work for both appt. WASTE OF TIME!! DONT DO IT TO YOURSELF!

Love this office. The front staff is wonderful and kind. The hygienist did a great job cleaning my teeth and the dentist took care of my broken tooth. I was nervous but the assistant help me calm my nerves. I can actually say I look forward to my dental appointment. Recommend this office to all my friends and family.

Had my first appointment today with Dr. Popp. Started my first treatment to have a crown placed on a broken tooth. Extremely please. Gentle,unhurried and caring. Most positive experience I've had with a dentist. Staff very friendly as well.
