I will start off by saying its a very nice facility. My issue is with the business practices. My original call was to see if they were in my network or out of network to schedule a cleaning. That means 90% covered or 80% which both are great. I was never informed they were out of network but was told " Mr. Pick! Great news we take your insurance" You should be specific with your customer. I am now under the impression I'm in network.
Cleaning went great, I was informed I had a cavity.
I show up for the next appointment. Before starting they present a bill for $280. I asked why I was paying $280? I was informed this was not covered through my insurance. I was a little taken back since I know that it is. They brought in the person who I guess files these claims with insurance to try and explain. She told me she could submit it. Why was this not already done? You had almost 2 weeks to do this...
I called my insurance company and they informed me that the dentist had not made a claim? Why collect money to only have to refund a large amount of it later. Seems pretty backwards. Also what a waste of my time to have to make these call to get it fixed.

Great experience at Your Oviedo Dentist today, the hygienist that did my cleaning today was extremely patience, knowledgeable and very kind. The least painful cleaning I ever had. All the staff and doctors are very friendly, great service.
