Dr. Richmond himself is a great doctor. He is great at explaining the whole process and simplifying medical terms for those of us who are not well-versed in medical vocabulary. His staff however is still lacking. The hygienist failed to warn me before painfully scraping my gums with a sharp instrument. I already do not enjoy visiting the dentist but this experience just made my fear worse. I also needed my x-rays sent to my oral surgeon which I notified the staff one month in advance. The x-rays were never sent which resulted in me having to go back to the office and waiting thirty minutes to have the x-rays sent. Overall, I think this practice needs to put more emphasis on giving more quality care to patients.

After many years with my former dentist, a change in insurance forced me to find a new one. Everyone at Richmond Family Dentistry was courteous, efficient and professional. Every procedure was explained in detail and I was taught the proper way to brush and floss my teeth. I highly recommend this practice!

Apparently, Terry Richmond and his staff are stuck in 1875. They only ever attempted to contact me via postal mail regarding a supposed past due bill. Except that my cleaning was covered by my insurance, a fact that was acknowledged by the front desk clerk before I left. They did not return one of the four calls I made to the office, and have now submitted the "bill" to collections, which will reflect on my credit if I don't dispute it. I will edit my review when Terry Richmond sends me the $149.95 for which he sold the "bill" to collections. Unfortunately, I know Terry and his staff won't see this since they are unaware of anything more technologically advanced than a typewriter.

I previously had so much anxiety going to the dentist until I met Dr. Richmond and his team! This is truly a dentist that I recommend to anyone as they listen to their customers and try their best to make the experience as manageable as possible. I don't dread going to the dentist any longer, Dr. Richmond and his team sat with me prior to doing any work just to determine my anxiety and what about the process I was fearing so they could work with me through it. Please, take my advice and give the team a chance, you won't regret it!!!
