This has been the best dental experience I have ever had. Everyone was very nice and explained what was happening along the way. They were very thorough and I left knowing what was actually going on with my teeth and very motivated to create better habits. Dr. Cheng, Lisan, and michelle were very helpful and made me feel very comfortable. 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!

Don’t be scared of the dentist!!! This is the best dentist office I’ve been to thus far! The staff is amazing and so courteous! I was very impressed with the way I was greeted and serviced during my visit here! BIG SPECIAL SHOUT-OUT TO the office manager Janet, Kate who took my X rays, and the dentist Mary!!!! Thank you ladies for the warm welcome!!!

Giving two stars only because the staff was polite and courteous. Unfortunately, I was taken advantage of in this office. Made to believe that I needed bone grafts, extensive oral surgery, etc. I was already having a hard time wrapping my head around everything I needed, and went in just wanting some help. I was quoted an absurd amount, and very thankful for the dentists willing to work with me and give me a discount, but the quote was still at $7,500. I decided to go through and try to get some done but once I spoke with some family members, decided to get a second opinion. With that second opinion also came a 3rd. 2nd dentist office’s quote was $6500 WITH INVISALIGN….3rd dentist office’s quote was $2500, everything included. I cannot even begin to explain how horrible it feels to have a dentist try to exploit you. I’m currently recovering from tooth extractions that this office said needed to be seen by an Oral Surgeon, but in all reality, my dentist did them within an hour of my scheduled visit. Staff is polite, but please don’t allow them to take advantage of you like I almost allowed them to do to me. Also would like to add that they got me approved for a credit card through their financing, was told my payments would be around $30, and when it came time for my monthly payment, it was $280. After seeing that, I tried to get them to refund the money to the credit card and it took them OVER TWO WEEKS. I called multiple times and was very nice, but my last call, I was done. Finally got the refund approved which took another couple of days but it’s just really unsettling that a dentist office would hold $7,000 for services that they never provided and then gave me a hard time just trying to get it refunded back to the card that they convinced me to sign up with. I got my deep cleaning done here for $415 and come to find out at the other two offices I went to, my deep cleaning should’ve never costed over $120 with my insurance. Hopefully this will help others make their decision and seek other opinions if Winter Haven Modern Dentistry is over quoting, overcharging and taking advantage of kind, genuine people that just want their smiles back.

These people are swindlers. I went here back in the fall as a new patient. The dentist tried to tell me I needed three root canals on my front teeth, over exaggerated the level of gum care I needed and said I needed a special cleaning that was going to cost 400 dollars. Over all they wrote up a plan costing me over 4K in work- that’s with insurance! I knew something felt off about it and I put off getting my teeth worked on for several months Because of the scary cost. Went to another reputable dentist and he couldn’t believe what these people said. I just needed 3 simple fillings and a regular cleaning. Cost me a 130 bucks. Go somewhere else if you like to keep your money.

Haven’t been to the dentist in a long time I’ll admit I was worried from when I went back in the day, so I went here and had the works done to my teeth and no pain! Just had a root canal and the only pain was the shot another than that you have no worries! They are awesome dr. Maybre is awesome and her staff! I can’t believe how going to the dentist and having no pain but it’s true! Thanks winter haven Modern dentistry yall rock!!!!!!

Everyone is wonderful at this practice. Dr. Chang is great, Lisan is great & all the staff are so friendly. I’m afraid of the dentist but they made it fun & totally painless.

Kate is the best! Dentist Mabry is the best! The least pain I’ve ever felt! They are the sweetest and really care for people with dental anxiety! The front desk is wonderful!

I have never been to a dentist office that has been this nice. They were very friendly and helpful When it came to my financing. I will be making them my primary dentist from here out.

Refused to do routine cleaning because I “needed” periodontal treatments for $1500. Absolutely ridiculous to be told twice regular cleaning could not be done. Cannot recommend them and don’t tell me to call and discuss because I called back just to make sure I heard you correctly the first time.

I fell for their special price too. They said i needed crowns on teeth, had gum disease, new cavities, root canal, had high numbers on most teeth. I signed up for their insurance. All this and still didnt get teeth cleaned. I left the office. We were due to go back to MN. Got back to MN and went to regular dentist ive gone to for years. Dentist said id just had xrays last time, all was good and only filled a little chip in teeth. Thank God i walked out of your office. Only out $112 for insurance. Would never go to you again.
