Dr. Brenda Paulen is an exceptional dentist who is attentive, knowledgeable, and empathetic. She takes the time to explain the mechanics of the mouth so that patients can understand the issue and why they are having that issue. She is very skilled in cosmetic dentistry and provides natural-looking results.
The front office staff is exceptional and provides stellar service. They are kind, funny, and go out of their way to find appointments that fit patients' schedules. They are knowledgeable about dental insurance and work hard to minimize out-of-pocket costs. The practice is highly recommended for those who are nervous about going to the dentist because of past trauma. The staff makes patients feel comfortable and welcome, and they take great care of them.

I can't say enough good things about Proud Smiles. Dr. Paulen and her entire staff were welcoming from the get-go, especially squashing my concerns about being nervous or scared to be at the dentist. Not once was I made to feel silly; all of my questions were answered fully (and often multiple times as I decided between options). They helped me figure out the best approach for not only a cosmetic improvement to my smile but also an improvement to my bite surface, something most other cosmetic dentists didn't show concern for. Dr. Paulen's approach handled both the aesthetic concerns I had and the health and integrity of my bite. The office was great about scheduling appointments, planning future appointments, and checking in with me throughout the process. Honestly I didn't write this review sooner because I've had trouble finding the words to express my gratitude. Dr. Paulen has assembled an expert term in both dental and front office capacities: Karen, Tiesha, Christine, and Krissi. I'm certain I'm forgetting some names and for that I apologize but every single staff member contributed to the stellar care I received here and I wholeheartedly recommend Proud Smiles for cosmetic dentistry and regular dental visits.

The best ever, pain free and comfortable, does all kinds of work! She has saved my teeth ravaged by the side effects of taking meds for chronic pain. As bad as it is to always have dry mouth, it never occurred to me that it causes cavities even though I floss and brush twice daily! If not for Dr. B. Paulen, I probably would have no teeth left! The procedures are painless and usually fun spending time visiting with all my friends that work there. And you're welcome to a free cup of tea!

Never in my life have I ever been exited to go to the dentist until I became a patient at Dr. Paulen’s office. It’s the best experience i’ve ever had in my life that I have even decided to go to Dental Assisting School!! The services they provide is like no other, the entire team always makes sure you always understand all your procedures. Every single employee in this office has the best attitude, super sweet, and make conversation to make you feel comfortable. They are so comforting from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. Aside from that, the results are amazing!!! Dr. Paulen worked on working around my natural teeth to give me such a natural look and i can not explain how in love i am with my results. I’m so embarrassed of how my smile used to be prior to coming to Dr. Paulen. My results are so amazing I can not stop looking in the mirror or smiling to my clients in my office! The amount of compliments i receive a day is crazy! Aside from the beauty, I never knew how important your oral hygiene is. Being that I’m only 19 going on to 20, my teeth and oral hygiene comes before anything!! Highly recommend, and i’ve recommended Proud Smiles to EVERYONE. I love it here

Let me start with saying I believe this place is covered and everyone here is an angel. From the front desk everybody is so nice and sweet to the back where they treat you like you’re the number one patient they make you feel so comfortable and welcomed to the Doctor Who is such a sweetheart she’s so understanding she’s patient and she really tries to find the best results for you. As someone who has “Dentist phobia” this is the only place I have been able to go to and feel comfortable from the beginning to the end I’m so glad that I found her office. Her staff is INCREDIBLE and it’s a HUGE difference then any other Dentist office I’ve ever been to. I would recommend this place to anyone especially if you’re scared of the dentist you won’t have to worry about that here they’ll take great care of you just like they did me. 😊 thank you Dr.Paulen!

Dr. Paulen is great! I've been a patient of hers for around 2 years now and absolutely no complaints from me. Only compliments! The staff is awesome and so friendly. I actually like coming to the dentist here just to chat with the office staff and all of the hygienists. I would one hundred percent recommend this dental office if you're looking for a dentist that does a great job helping you keep your teeth healthy and friendly staff that make you feel welcome every time.

I love Dr. Paulen!!! This is the BEST dentist I have ever had!! The office staff, Christine and Karen are second to none. Jasmine is an outstanding hygienist who keeps my smile bright and clean! I never have to worry about whether my dental care. The professionalism and competence of Dr. Paulen and her staff have kept me coming for the past 4 years. Even though she is out of my insurance network, I've chosen that her services are well worth the extra cost. :-)
