Dentistry is not at all Honest. They are doing a scamming. Before i book appointment I requested them to check whether my dental insurance is covered or not, they said Yes its covered. Once i stepped to Dentistry i request again to check my insurance bu giving my insurance card, they checked it and said yes you are completely covered in insurance and not to worry, again i asked them to verify is it with co-pay of 80(insurance) 20(Myself), they confirmed yes you r in copay of 80-20. Then i stepped into hospital, Nurse said she have to take x-ray for kid teeth, i again request her to check whether the x-ray will cover in insurance or not and she replied that she verified and your insurance will pay it and not to worry. Nurse brushed my kid teeth and took x-ray and Dr came and checked in a minute and he said we will take this up in next appointment since he is having cavity. Then while am leaving they gave me a quotation including other 2 appointments, the quotation of payment says i need to pay 50% and i asked them why u have given the quotation for 50%, then they said yes in $680 the 20% is $380, I never learnt this type of mathematics ever. I said i don't want to take next 2 appointments now until i check this calculation with my insurance. Next day morning i got a call from Dentistry saying am not at all covered in the insurance to their hospital, which means i am having a PPO plan and they are with DMO plan dentistry. I asked why u didn't tell this yesterday when i asked u multiple times? there is not valid reply from them. Long conversation happened and explain everything and they accepted its their mistake completely but i have to take responsibility of paying for their fault. I explained my situation that for Dentistry Fault i cannot take the responsibility. Later they send a bill of payment with $385 and after discount its $255. I don't know where does this $385 comes from. They are doing a scamming completely. They are not connecting me to payment department to explain the issue. What ever the number they have given also going to voice mail. This is the issue i am facing past 25 days still not resolved.
Note : Total Bill amount for 3 appointments is $680, where as i attended only first appointment and for the first appointment my bill was given as $280 without insurance and $150 with insurance.
