Panola Family Dental

I did not use my dental insurance for years because I had previous bad experiences and grew to dislike going to the dentist. I came to this practice several years ago on the recommendation of a co-worker. I have not had an uncomfortable or distressing cleaning from any hygienist. The front desk staff is pleasant and professional and I get plenty of reminders about my appointments. I enjoy working with Dr. Hester. I never feel judged if I am not the best with flossing in between cleanings. The recommendations are educational and not shameful. I highly recommend!

First time coming/patient and you felt the love at the door. Front desk staff was very friendly, the dental assistant was EXTREMELY nice and kind and made you feel at ease. And the doctor, I think Dr. Hester it was like sitting in momma chair. She took care of me like her own child and kept it real(which I needed because I be slacking on my dental care) But this is it for me. I’ve been through so many dentist and it just feel like they just try and do stuff to take your money and coke back to get more of your money. I HIGHLY recommend this place

My experience with Panola Family Dentistry has always been great. Everyone is nice and I always feel like I’m around family. They are very professional but at the same time you feel at home. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. They are conveniently located off of the interstate so they are very easy to find. The office is always nice and clean. I hadn’t gone to the dentist in years, to the point where I was embarrassed to go to my appointment. But my hygienist, Chyvonne (shay) and doctor, Dr. Hester were extremely nice and professional. They didn’t make me feel embarrassed when doing my oral exam but gave me the information and resources I need to get my mouth on track. I appreciate their professionalism, kindness and oral education. I will be making them my new dental home! :)

Dr. Hester is a great dentist. I have been going to her for over 10 years. She makes you feel so comfortable and she takes her time and explains to give you and understanding of now and long term for dental.

I normally get very anxious going to the dentist but everyone was so nice and the staff was wonderful and Dr Hester set up a treatment plan while making me feel like she knew exactly what she was doing and explaining it to me. This was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had.

It was my first visit. And the staff made me feel so welcomed. They were very friendly and very helpful to me. I felt so good when I left. It was a really great experience. God bless you all.

As a new patient I was made comfortable and assured. The staff was very friendly and kept me apprised of every step of my consult. Dr. Brown helped me pick the best course of action going forward to keep my mouth healthy. It was truly an enjoyable experience.

The technician who cleaned my teeth this week was excellent! My appointment was 11am I arrived a little early and I was taken right away which was excellent. The technician had finished cleaning by 11:35and I kept looking at my clock on my phone because I had a work appointment I had to get to afterwards and thought I’ll definitely be out in time. I waited in the chair chatting with the technician still with my bib on until 12noon and still no doctor. She kept checking but the 2 doctors on duty were apparently very busy. I would have given higher stars but because I had to leave without actually seeing the dentist I had to give lower stars. I’ve actually never experienced not actually seeing the dentist at a pre-scheduled dental appointment because they were too busy at any other dental practice.

I really like this dentist. Been coming for many years. It has been a couple times that I was pressured into getting procedures that I don’t need (and still didn’t get), but overall I really like it here.
