One of the worst billing and insurance teams, by far. And that really sucks, because the dentists at this office are wonderful. Dr. Crossley has been doing work on my teeth for over 5 years and Dr. Koch did them the 3 before that. If it weren't for the consistent lack of knowledge and understanding from the billing department, I would not be leaving this office. There is always an issue. I have also had issues with non-cancelled appointments. After reading other reviews, I see that I am not the only one. That's an easy way to make a little extra money for them, I suppose. I have called in advance, on more than one occasion, to cancel an appointment or reschedule. Yet, I'm held responsible for the original appointment and charged a no-show fee. Of course, how convenient for them, there is 'no record' of me calling. I hope this office gets their staff under control.
UPDATE
The owner response is grossly inaccurate. "Based on your comments you are more upset because you were charged for cancelled appointments which doesn't have anything to do with our billing and insurance department." I'm sorry, but this is a very sarcastic response for any professional. Also, I have since then called back (twice) to resolve my billing issues and have never received any call back. This business can check their state-of-the-art phone system to verify that. My last call was today to discuss the credit remaining on my account, and how much longer it's going to be before I get it. My insurance company has already covered my last claim and there should be absolutely no reason why I have to wait for approval. My money, my credit. Like I said the first time, MY ISSUE is with the staff who handle billing and/or insurance.

All office staff was nice and extremely professional, however, I was not told upon signing in that my insurance was not in network, therefore I received a $175 bill in the mail for a cleaning after insurance paid their portion. This should be something that is explained to the patient in advance! Had I known this, I would have walked out and found a new provider. Also, I was told I had approximately 15 cavities. After many tears and frustration, seeing as I have never been more than 6 months without a dental check up in my life, I decided to request my records and have them reviewed by another dentist. After an in house evaluation and review of imaging, I was told I have 1 cavity that needs to be filled.

I am terrified of dentist and they made sure that I was relaxed and comfortable before beginning any work. Dr.Crossley was wonderful and so was the nurse that had to deal with me. I will defiantly let him do all of my work.
