Everyone at Island Dental Group provides outstanding service. Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The equipment they use at their office is cutting edge technology and not something that dates back to the 70โs like my previous dentist. My family does not fear going to the dentist anymore since we switched over to IDG!

Dr. Tamura and his team operate a leading edge, professional, but friendly and comforting dental office. I was a little surprised with the amount of forms I had to complete before seeing the doctor, but quickly realized that even without the added concern of COVID exposure, it was necessary for the health of patients and staff. I would recommend them to everyone, even if they already have a dentist.

Dr. Tamura is a one stop shop for general dentistry. He and Tiana are caring and efficient. They make you feel like family (fresh cookies after a visit - yummy). Love how easy it is to make appointments and to contact him directly with any issues. He is a well respected and experience professional which makes it easy for his patients to see specialist if needed. I trust him in providing me with the best dental care. I chipped my upper molar during lunch and experienced some pain. I'm new to the area so I didn't have a regular dentist office to go to, until now. I was referred to Dr. Tamura and couldn't be more happier and satisfied. Dr. Tamura was able to see me the next morning where he put on a temporary crown and prepared my tooth for the permanent crown when it comes in next week. Dr. Tamura and his staff were so very friendly and professional and best of all, I didn't feel a thing! Dr. Tamura has gained a couple new patients in me and my wife.

My first visit was easy to schedule and I was greeted by welcoming staff. I inquired if my 2 children could come with me and wait in waiting area. They told me this was fine and entertained them with Netflix while my teeth were cleaned. The dental hygienist was kind and thorough in my cleaning. The dentist explained a tentative treatment which will be explained in detail during my second visit.

I had the unfortunate experience of losing one of my front teeth one day before leaving for a 3 week trip to Hawaii. I contacted Island Dental on Maui and was able to get an appt shortly after arrival. Dr Lee and staff were very friendly and accommodating and tried to help me as I had a very noticeable โholeโ in the middle of my smile. Fabulous staff: very caring and thoughtful. In a week I received a temporary tooth which was a perfect match to my existing teeth. if I ever have a dental emergency again on Maui, this is the place I will go.
