The staff at the Makakilo location have always been very kind and courteous towards myself and my family time and time again. Dr. Alex and his coordinator Ryehe M. have both shown extensive knowledge of their practice which assures me that I am receiving the best care and service on the island.

Fantastic overall experience. The office was very nice, large open windows, the staff was extremely friendly.The visit was very efficient, yet I did not feel rushed. They were very aware of me, as a new patient. I felt very welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommend!

My appointment was scheduled far in advance. When I got there they told me it was going to be cancelled because they overbooked. They decided to go ahead with the appointment but rushed removing my braces. Afterwards I had to wait for 3 hours to get my retainer when it was supposed to have been ready in advance. As a business owner myself, I lost several hundred dollars and a good client waiting for this appointment. Will never return.

If you want a family oriented, caring, and a nice dentist/orthodontist, this is the place you want to go! I take my ENTIRE family (even make my husband go) here and will take my daughter to her first appointment when she turns 1. They are awesome. My kids (3 of the buggers) aren’t afraid of the dentist because of the caring kind nature of this office. It’s a place where they remember your name when you walk in (even though your a few minutes late) with your kids! I cannot stress enough how amazing this office has been for us! Thank you Gentle Dental!

I have been there 1 time and it was a great experience.
However due to Judy, their new & very rude employee they have now, I have decided to take my business to the Waianae location.
I do not think that listening to her personal stories,hearing her giggling for no reason or being put on hold for a long time is a good customer service or anything a person who is calling in with pain should deal with.
