Comfort Care Dental - Idaho Falls

Comfort care has been my dentist since I’m moved from utah to Idaho. Dr Harper is so fantastic and the only one I will ever let work on my teeth. He has been here for my family through some horrible times and helped me on multiple occasions. The staff are excellent and so friendly. Lifetime patients!

Just recently moved here and needed a dentist. Comfort Care was the first place I came to and they have been amazing!! I've had lots of teeth problems throughout my life and they have my full confidence that I'll be perfectly taken care of! They all seem very knowledgeable, the office is very homey, they answer all my questions, they work and handle my insurance, and they are so nice!! I don't ever dread going to them! I'd suggest anyone to go to them to handle all their needs and concerns!:)

The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient! I was in there for the first time for a check up and cleaning, and felt very welcome by all of them. The work they did was very fast as well. I think once they got the cleaning started, it took about 20 minutes.

Afterwards I needed to schedule another appointment for additional work I need done and they had an easy to read statement ready for me within a few minutes.

Overall I really enjoyed the experience and would love to make them my primary dental care provider the next time I have insurance coverage.

I took my 90 year old grandmother to this facility to help get her dentures so she can start eating regular foods and we seen Dr. Cannon for our 1st visit and between him and his assistant, we were told the costs to do her dentures and under anesthesia to make the process easier for her. For the removal of 14 teeth and the cost of the Dr. to do it in the hospital, we were given a round about cost of $12975.00 and the dental assistant took copies of all medical and dental insurance cards so their financial staff member, Jerrica could find out coverage for us and in order to avoid us to have to wait for the information in the office, Jerrica would call us with the results in 1-2 days. We never received a call and finally after 1 month passed by called Jerrica to find out the information. She stated that she wasn't told to contact us on the insurance coverage results. We had heard nothing up to this point and I felt that my grandmother's dental needs was being ignored from uncaring staff. The 1st visit we were told was a second opinion; therefore, there was no charges for this visit. Shortly thereafter, I received an explanation of benefits letter from my grandmother's dental Insurance showing costs of the 1st visit that wasn't supposed to be charged. I was told that it was an error and it would be returned to her dental insurance company. To this date, I haven't seen the claim and the money returned to my grandmother's dental insurance. I really wasn't feeling comfortable with this dental care from Comfort Care so I contacted the Area Manager, Kim and discussed all of our concerns. We shortly made an appointment to do the denture impressions because surgery was scheduled on June 16th, 2022. When we arrived to Comfort care, we were met by Jolene behind the front desk and she bluntly asked for our name and quickly told us that we are required to pay $1590.00 before my grandmother could go forward to get the denture impressions done. My grandmother has no issues understanding or comprehending conversations; therefore, she commented quickly about the manner we were addressed. After trying to understand the requirements of paying $1590.00 that day, I received a copy of the ledger that was on her account and after looking at it, I was completely surprised to see the total cost of being well over $17,000 as well comparing the charges of tooth extractions to what was submitted to her dental insurance. This facility is a contracted provider with Delta dental; therefore, they agreed to write off the amount over delta dental allowed amount. To my surprise, each tooth extraction was $287.00, the maximum approved fee is $178.00, amount with delta dental shows $109.00 as a contractual adjustment leaving patient balance of $35.60 but according to the the ledger I received from Comfort Care, their office is charging my grandmother the amount that they are required to write off per their contract with Delta Dental.

Their inaccuracies in the charges of fees are not true and accurate!

I've tried to reach back out to Kim, Area Manager for Comfort Care dental about all of inconsistencies on May 31, 2022 and have never received a return call. I did cancel all planning of dental services with this company and I'm still waiting for a refund of the $1590.00 that was demanded at our appointment.

This company is very eager to demand payment from their customers but very delayed in crediting money back to the patient.

I will contact Delta Dental to look into these inaccurate charges.

Watch out for this Dental Care facility!

To be honest I always hated going to the dentist. Previous experiences with other offices were blah, always felt like a number, and never really wanted to go. Once I went to Comfort Care it completely changed my outlook. The staff here are welcoming, polite, and knowledgeable. From receptionist to the doctor, each person had their own unique personality that made the experience enjoyable and fun! I've never said that about a dentist office before. I also noticed how well they work together as a team and help each other to ensure all their customers/clients needs are met. The name really says it all. To all the staff at Comfort Care Thank You!! I'm looking forward to my next appointment. P.S. Highly Recommend.

Hands down best staff and Dr Harper is amazing.

The front staff is friendly they remember who I am which is always big to me when someone remembers me on a personal level...
They were willing to work within my payment options which I was grateful for.
The dentist themselves talk to me like a person and they share with me their medical knowledge about teeth and about how it works and why certain things happen the way they do.
They're also excellent with my children and they were kind and patient

I probably rescheduled my appt probably five times within two weeks because of my work schedule. The girls in there were so kind and understanding.. i just felt comfortable here. No pun intended. I'm excited for my long awaited dental journey here. Thank you!!!

Very pleased with my experience at Comfort Care Dental. The staff is very friendly and make you feel like family. I would definitely recommend Comfort Care to everyone :) Jenny was very kind to take time out of her own day to make me impressions of my baby's hand and foot recently and this wasn't the first time she has done this, she has done impressions for me in the past as well. The staff at Comfort Care really are the best! I won't go anywhere else!
