Dr Godfrey showed care and concern when it came to my well being regarding my dental health. I had a crown replaced and I feel great. He even called me the day after to see how I was doing! Dr. Godfrey and his staff are always professional and friendly. Even when you don’t do your best job with your dental hygiene, they are still friendly and advise of “watch” spots in your mouth or on your gums and advise where you may need to try a little harder. I’ve been going to Excellence in Dentistry since 2018 when I moved to Idaho Falls from Utah, and have always been pleased with their services.

I have an extreme fear of Dentists, this is one I’m not afraid of. I saw Dr. Curtis Godfrey. They helped me out when I was in extreme pain due to a tooth going bad and needing a Root Canal. . I called 4 dentists and every one of them would not see me. Due to availability and, being a “New Patient” Excellence in Dentistry, without hesitation, got me in right away. The gal I spoke to at the front desk said, “When can you be here?” (I’m 20-30 Minutes out) I told her “30ish Minutes” and she said, “ If you can head this way, We can see you”. The staff and Dr. Godfrey worked through their lunch. As a Patient that had never been seen by them, and as miserable as I was. They were a true-life savior, they treated me with grace. They were patient with me and understanding of my fear and irritability due to the pain I was in. Even with a full schedule. They got me out of pain right away, and my tooth was repaired in a very reasonable time frame. The doctors and dental staff are very gentle and knowledgeable. The front desk is always warm welcoming, helpful, and promptly answers concerns. I am a cash pay, due to them not accepting my Dental Insurance. I mentioned that being a Farm Bureau Insurance Member, there was a discount program I could use. The sweet gal in the billing office. Looked into the program. She then realized it was one they participated in. She took it upon herself out of her busy day to sign me up when she didn’t have to, honestly, coming from an Insurance Agency owner myself, where customer service means everything to me. It was so helpful and appreciated. They worked with me on the payments. Made sure I understood what my bill was going to be before doing any work. (Besides giving the laughing gas to calm me down and numbing the bad tooth) and Ensuring I would be able to budget the unexpected expense. Always a Great conversation, they make you feel like family vs a patient. If I could give them 100000+ stars I would. This will be my Dentist as long as they’re in practice. I will happily pay cash payments for your services over going to an office that accepts my Dental Coverage. Your office has made me a customer for life. Thank you for going over and beyond. It speaks volumes!! Speaking of the Dentist, I need to call and get me and my 13-Month-old son in. Talk to you Soon! I never thought in a million years I would say that!!!

Dr. Godfrey is amazing. He shows genuine care, never feels rushed, and always does what’s in the patient’s best interest. His staff is friendly and very gentle during routine cleanings - 10/10 would recommend.
