I have never been to a more expensive dentist in my entire life...
That being said...
First it was represented to me that I should sign up for their Discount Program... at a cost of $359.00 - which was alleged to give me significant discounts... so I did.
[ it turned out that I found it to be similar to some retail sales wherein the merchant raises the prices; first so that it is not really a sale at all.]
Again, Dentist has higher prices of any Dentist I have ever been to in my life and since I am in my 60's that's quite a few.
I was told that I need a cleaning... I asked the cost and I was told that it was $474.00 ... I thought that was high but with the discount program I just purchased... I went ahead. As my question was specific I of course thought that the quote was for the mouth cleaning in total.
After I had the cleaning done... and the tech had only done one side of my mouth... I questioned why... she said ... they only do one half of the mouth at a time I would have to come back for the second half I was not advised of this prior. When I went out to pay I was told it was a total of $460.00 to do just one half of my mouth Not the whole mouth... OMG'
I was shocked of course... I said again that I asked for the cost of cleaning my teeth and I was not told $474.00 for one half of my mouth I was told $460.00 period. They could have cared less of course because it is a scam. I ended up having to pay $474.00 and walk out with only 1/2 of my mouth cleaned... OMG... Unbelievable
Then I was also told I had to have a tooth pulled and replaced ... Dr Braumbach created what they call a flipper for me... that turned out to be extremely shorter than the rest of my teeth... it looks really bad.
When I spoke to them they lied and said it did not look shorter than the rest of the teeth and argued with me. Yet all of my friends and family all say it looks way short... and it does... it looks terrible in truth.
The dentist did not rectify the problem.
This is actually just the tip of the iceberg... of BAD EXPERIENCES ... I have had with this Dentist... which leaves me wondering how many of these alleged glowing reviews are in fact true.
I have never had a bad experience with a Dentist before in my life until Dr. Braumbach who is obviously making a mint off of his patients!
