Smiles 4 Kids: Dentistry for Children

I have been bringing all my kids (1yo-14yo) here for a year or so. The dental assistants usually seem pretty rushed but are polite and efficient. I tried scheduling 2 of my kids at once and they put my 8yo and 4yo in separate rooms and were confused when I asked for them to be in one room. Today my 14yo had an appointment, he has very intense anxiety about being at the dentist in general and Dr. Richards told him he needed to grow up and learn to get through life without medication, we asked for conscious sedation for some dental work that needed to be done because last time the nitrous oxide made his anxiety worse, I tried explaining his anxiety and poor reaction to the nitrous and he just kept telling my already upset son to grow up and face his fears because dentist for adults won't do sedation. (Umm yes they do) I couldn't believe how rude he was and pushy about the issue.

My kids loved their experience at the dentist! Everyone we interacted with was kind, professional, and made my kids feel comfortable and safe.

We had a great experience at the dentist today! The entire staff was very friendly and sweet with my kids (ages 4 and 2). There was some miscommunication about my insurance but the girl at the front desk very sweetly kept calling them until it was figured out rather than just having me deal with it. The whole office was very nicely decorated and had lots of kid themed elements to help the kids feel comfortable. I’d definitely recommend them to a friend!

As always, the service at Smiles 4 Kids today was incredible. At our previous dentistry, my daughter would panic and didn’t want anyone touching anywhere near her mouth. The girls at S4K are so patient and kind - it’s as if my 5 year old knows she can trust them. The patience and compassion exhibited by everyone who came into contact with my daughter today is the exact reason we will always return! Thank you so much for being such a great dental provider!!! For anyone looking for a child’s dentist, this place is definitely THE BEST in town.

They are such welcoming and friendly people. They always attempt to get your child in the same day or at least as soon as possible! I would recommend them to anyone with children that don't like going to the dentist because they make the kids feel included and they give them a fun and entertaining experience!! Good job guys

I do like coming here as the dentists and assistants are always so kind to my kids and fun and flexible. They are understand and best of all my kids DON'T dread going to the dentist, it's actually a fun outing! The front desk reps could definitely work on their customer service and talking less about their personal business, but I guess that's anywhere nowadays.

Our son is Autistic and struggles a lot with Dentist appointments in general. But at Smiles 4 Kids, they make him feel at home and welcome! Great service and plenty of understanding staff members! Thanks, guys!😊😊😊

There were some mishaps at our visit, however, the next day the office manager called and was genuinely nice and apologetic about the entire situation. Just the fact that she called was so reassuring. The Dentist we saw also made the visit great. He was great with both my husband and son. Definitely happy to change this review from a 3 star to a 5 star after feedback from the Office Manager.

I was very nervous for my twins, especially my boy. Our first experience was not the best and I made the hygienist aware of this. She was great with my kids! She made the time fun and comfortable for them, and myself. Thank you again.
