Dr. Kinder and Dr. Jacob Family Dentistry

I've been going to Dr. Kinder 28 years, at least! Love him and his staff. Dr. Jacob is great also! Both so an awesome job with our 5 and 8 year old, along with the hygienist :)!

Dr. Jacob and staff are amazing. They really take care to make sure you're comfortable during restoration procedures and i appreciate that!

I used to think of going to the dentist as a torture experience. Not anymore, I'd like to thank Jacob and staff for the great service I've received to get my teeth in order as I've not been to the dentist in over a decade! Jacob and staff are professional and straight to the point. Have a happy holiday and thank you for helping me get my teeth fixed after a decade of dodging the dentist office. Reviews are one thing, experience is another thing, but I say give them a try. Friendly caring staff.

They are amazing with kids! They are fast and make the experience as enjoyable as possible for my 3 year old. I couldn’t ask for a better place to go!

I have been with Dr. Kinder for many years. I have stayed because he is one of the best in the business. You couldn't ask for better care.

Receptionist was very off putting and rude about making an appointment- saying rudely “well we’ve never seen you before so”....I interjected with b/c I just moved here! She basically ignored me so I went to Another place and was treated with respect. Customer service is #1 and this place obviously doesn’t cater to that and think they know it ALL...stay away from this dentist office especially if you have children!!

I have been going to Kinder/Jacob Family Dentistry for about ten years. It has been a positive experience dealing with the hygienist to the dentist, Dr. Jacob. Unfortunately, it all changed when they started to see my daughter. She is three years old. And when I arrived for her appointment, the woman at the front desk notified me that they would try to see her by herself. I said I was not comfortable with that and I wanted to accompany my daughter. I am her legal guardian and I see no reason why any treatment (be it a cleaning or a examination) should be administered without her legal guardian in the room. When her hygienist came to get her, I repeated my discomfort with leaving my daughter by herself. I pretty much had an argument with the hygienist over my discomfort. It was to no avail. I was disregarded as a parent, coerced into a process I did not agree to, and I feel like my rights as a guardian were violated. I never consented, and it did not matter. It was a disheartening experience. Despite my reservations, I was ignored. If you are a mother, think twice about going to this practice. They are certainly great, but not when you are a parent and your parent rights are disregarded.

They do not allow parents to go into the room with their children. I was told this after my daughter had already been seen two times previously. Supposedly this was always the office's policy, but I was not told about it nor was it enforced until I went to schedule my child's third appointment.

I was a patient for nearly 20 years and would never return to this dental practice. I had a bizarre incident with a new and very immature unprofessional dental hygienist who made rude personal remarks. I am a mother and grandmother, and was disturbed that this insulting mistreatment went ignored by the rest of the staff. Then I was told I had developed an infection and needed further treatment, despite taking excellent care of my teeth. I completed the treatment because I didn’t have time to get a second opinion. After that, I never went back. There’s something really toxic about a medical or dental practice that seems to lose all sense of decency when they make a mistake. My trust was destroyed and I would never risk dealing with them again. I’m sure they were aware of my discomfort and clearly could not have cared less.
