I have gone to North Grand Dental since about 2008.
Dr. Hampton is by far the best dentist in the Ames area. He is all about making sure that his patients are taken care of.
When I had broken a tooth and was experiencing alot of pain from it a few years back Dr. Hampton fit me in late in the day even though his family and him were getting ready to leave for vacation.
I know alot of people who have used him, including family members, friends and my boss who was the one that referred me to that office.
If an issue arises he will do what he can to make sure that you are properly taken care of, even if it means him adjusting his personal schedule.
I have not worked with any of the other dentists/hygienists in that office but I am safe to assume that they all provide great care as well.
They take care of billing your insurance and will address any billing issues for you as well.
Get along, go see Dr. Hampton, I promise you won't be sorry!

This is an excellent dental office, my family has been coming to see Dr. Hampton for almost 20 years. We have to travel from outside Ames and it is well worth our time. The staff is very professional and the equipment and facilities are first class. Being over 50 years old I have had my share of dental issues and this office has given me the best dental care I have ever had.

Dr. Justin Hampton Is a caring professional who is deeply interested in patients dental health. The hygienists are great and i always leave my cleanings feeling extremely pleased.. and my teeth are extremely clean. I was able to communicate with Justin directly to confirm that my cost of care would not go up upon changing insurance companies. Very happy.

I have never been disappointed there. The staff is always efficient and friendly. I have been told by past/ other dentists’ staffs that I have a small mouth so my dental work is harder than usual. I have never heard any negative comments or felt any such attitude from Dr. Mary or any of her staff. Pam usually cleans my teeth and she is gentle and very kind, as is Dr. Mary.

If you are looking for a highly skilled, medically informed, culturally enlightened environment for dental work - this is the place! You can choose whether or not to have x-rays (they do cause DNA damage no matter what you are told) and the professionalism is at the pinnacle. I highly recommend this Dental office - from people to prosthetic teeth (if that is a thing) this firm is the best!

The doctor is always nice. Don't recommend patients to do extra non-needed treatment. After we moved to SF bay area and saw some dentists, we realized that the doctor we used have at Consamus & Hampton really care about your teeth instead of how much money can be made out of your dentist insurance. Keep being the best in Ames.

I suffer from dental phobia and have high anxiety about the situation but I went today and saw Nathaniel Feldman to have 2 teeth removed. Him and his assistant were very kind and patient and made me feel comfortable. They did a good job. it didn't take very long and he was gentle. Later in the day I had a slight problem so I went back and the were very quick to help and rectify the issue. Everyone was real nice and I'm now a little less terrified of going. I recommend this office.
