Green Hill Family Dental

I’ve gone to Greenhill Family Dental since I was about 8 years old. Now that I’m an adult, I still continue to go here because of how much I love it! I did try out another dentist for a bit due to insurance but ended up going back to Dr. Meiers because he’s so wonderful! He’s always sparks up interesting conversation and is so friendly. That being said, it doesn’t hold up the appointment and I’m always in and out of the clinic in less than 45 minutes. I see many reviews about the receptionists but I totally disagree. They’ve each been welcoming to me over all the years. I go here typically every 6 months on the dot, so I don’t think that’s a fluke! I haven’t once had a bad experience here. I recommend my dentist to everyone!!

Reception is very rude! Make me not even want to call to schedule appointments… I will not continue to choose this place for my dental care!

Our family has been going to Greenhill Family Dentistry for 16 years and it has been an amazing place for your dental experience. The staff is wonderful and they make you feel welcome knowing you by name. The dental hygienists are all very nice and make you feel relaxed about being there. The hygienists and dentists do a great job and really pride themselves on doing a great job for you. We have primarily seen Dr. Maiers and he does an outstanding job. He takes the time to listen and answer your questions. He will take whatever time is necessary to do the job completely and correct. He takes extra time to do something over if it is not up to his standards. This is not a place that is just trying to rush you in and out. We are more than satisfied and would recommend Dr. Maiers to anyone.

The receptionist staff is horrible and costing these amazing dentists customers. I love the dentists here, I saw Meiers and my son say Hansen. Both were great but the reception staff that called herself the Office Manager was snotty and very rude.

I agree with many of the other reviews about the front desk manager/ scheduler/ receptionist for Dr. Hansen. We have been going to Dr. Hansen for years and everything was fine until an error was made with my insurance leaving me with a bill of several hundred dollars instead of trying to help correct the situation she turned the bill over to collection and told us our family was no longer welcome. I asked Dr Hansen to reconsider & was told by Linda that as long as I made a payment towards the bill the doctor would continue to see my children. I paid the bill in full and was then told again that we were not welcome. My spouse had already moved to a different dentist after Linda made a snide comment about getting a job and not having to use Medicaid. (An Airforce veteran that had to use Medicaid until the insurance kicked in through the employer!) I thought at the time it must have been a misunderstanding but after reading the reviews below it sounds like Linda has some strong feelings about people with Medicaid for any reason. In my last few conversations with her she often spoke over me and acted like she was just going to hang up the phone after she got done speaking. It’s really too bad to have someone treat patients like that when it seems like Dr. Hanson is a pretty decent doctor.

My experience at Dr Hansen and Dr Maiers office has been truly second to none! The front desk always greets me with a smile and there’s always minimal wait time. The staff is always friendly and happy to answer my questions. I will never trust another office with my smile!

I love Dr. Myers but "that" receptionist gotta GO!
It is keen for receptionists to have good customer service skills, however this is not always the case as with the person I just spoke with a few moments ago!
I was spoken to in a way of telling me what I SHOULD DO instead of proving options as if I were a child. If I were someone who was not familiar with the necessary treatment and my condition. The receptionist who is also the supervisor/office manager would have had me traveling to Iowa City. With the indication my insurance did not cover my treatment there in waterloo when in fact it is just that office. Her deliverance was totally out of pocket, to the point I had to stop my day and write this review and I have to be at work in 40min. PS SHE ALSO HUNG UP ON ME AND WHEN I CALLED BACK SHE STARTED AGAIN WITH A SUPERIOR ATTITUDE!!!

My family has been seeing Dr. Maiers for many years; actually, before the practice moved into the new building along Greenhill Road. The receptionists and Dr. Maiers are professionals but very warm and friendly people. They visit with us and explain the procedures. I would recommend this dental group to everyone.

The only good receptionist is Linda, I've gotten a different one the last 2 times and very rude. Dr Hansen is great with the kids but the one lady is so rude... no customer service skills.

I've been a client for years and my insurance is temporarily medicaid while we take our primary insurance to court. I called to see if I could make an appointment and explained I was a previous client but under different insurance now and she explained that I had to call at the beginning of the month and hung up on me before I could clarify. I am definitely not going back and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone else that uses medicaid as she immediately was incredibly rude to me.
