I would approach them with caution. I went here several years. Initially they were friendly. Later on, I found them to have become pushy and condescending. Due to this and desire for a more convenient dentist for myself, I switched practice, and after discussions my new dentist had my suspicions confirmed that they seemed to really lean into over treatments at this practice. Overly aggressive pushing of fillings and crowns. Do not recommend.

This place is a joke and I wouldn't even give them one star if I didn't have to. They were blatantly dishonest with me on two different occasions, charged an $80 cancellation fee without informing me that they would even charge me for cancelling an appointment, took 3 hours for my first visit to simply do a routine teethe cleaning, and then tried to tell me I needed to have all these procedures done when nothing at all was wrong. Do NOT go to this dentist; they are lying crooks that steal your money. They are the worst dentist I've ever been to in my life.

I took my 7 y.o. to have a couple teeth pulled by Dr. Joyner today. Everything was fine until kiddo suddenly got scared. She has been going there for years and cheerfully had a tooth pulled and some filllings last year. Courtney, the assistant, was very patient with her and Dr. Joyner got the teeth out so now all is well. Dr. Joyner and all the staff are happy and good at what they do.

If you want to be price gauged go to this dentist. They gave us procedures that weren't covered by insurance without even asking first and only cared about selling us products. Worst dentist we have ever gone to. There are plenty of great dentist in Cedar Rapids area and she is not one. Do yourself a favor and shop around for a dentist instead of deciding on this one.
