I am glad to receive the timely reminders! I am always treated promptly with courtesy. Don't tell either of the Dr. Hortons but I have dreaded, yes, feared going to the dentist for many years. Now - I can't say I enjoy it - but I do not mind at all going to either of the Dr. Hortons. They are professional and kind. I have been going for over 20 years and will continue!

Dr. Doug Horton has been a family friend for years. He is deeply involved in helping the under insured and homeless with care in the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City corridor for years. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Top notch dental services and technicians with a practice that contributes to the area is a huge thing to my family.

I have been seeing Dr. Doug since I was a small child in the 1980’s. As an adult, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The dentists I have gone to when I’ve lived away from Iowa did not do nearly so good a job. I found myself making special trips back home when it was time for a cleaning or I was in urgent need of dental care, such as the time I chipped a tooth when I was out of state at college. Their staff are professional but friendly, and they have always been good at answering my questions. I only had one problem with one staff member, and that was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. Would recommend Horton Family Dental to anyone.

I have been going to Horton Family Dental since I moved to Cedar Rapids in 1990, I never liked going to the dentist when I was younger and this reluctance continued until I started seeing Dr. Horton. While I can not say that I look forward with great anticipation to my next checkup, I can say that I will never look for another dentist! Both Dr Horton and his son are best dentists I have ever worked with.
