Besides the huge lack of cleanliness, every single time I have gone in to get my teeth worked on it’s always a new different dentist! Due to excessive times of being uncomfortable I decided to leave. The final push was when I was getting my teeth cleaned and I had the pleasure of being front & center when one of the dentists got upset and started to yell/curse at the innocent assistant. Very unprofessional. Go elsewhere

Having not been to a dentist in a long while, I was nervous. Each member of the staff were so kind + understanding, made me comfortable. Not rushed, they take time to explain all procedures. Highly recommend them.

I received care from Midwest a few months ago. Staff and Dr McBride all friendly however I was adimant about my insurance and how much dental work I could afford to receive. The billers assured me I would only pay 20% which came to approximately $400 between two appointments. I stressed I could not afford more and they still assured this would be the amount out of pocket based off my VALID insurance card. A week after my second appt I was seen a third time due to pain from work performed by them and billed for this as well. A month and a half later I receive a voicemail asking when I was planning to settle my debt for services. To my surprise I called back advising I didn’t have an outstanding bill due. Sure enough, the billing staff never ran my insurance benefits against the dentist’s dental plan for me and only a very small portion of my dental services were covered by my insurance. I was informed I owed an additional $700-800 in dental bills... I am still in pain and have to transfer services to a new dentist now who thankfully has advised it isn’t any extra work to run pre auth to confirm my expected payments are true and accurate. But here I am, still making payments to a facility that is holding me responsible for their mistakes and laziness. Very unfortunate that this happened. Again, everyone is friendly, but be sure to call your insurance should you find yourself having a large amount of work done and the billers are handing you a dental plan to pay on!!!!!

I used to absolutely hate the dentist when I was younger. After I started seeing Dr. Stoffel over 17 years ago I have actually come to enjoy it. He always makes sure that you are comfortable while he is working on your teeth. I also appreciate that he made it enjoyable for my son at an early age. He still enjoys going even as a teenager. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Stoffel and his staff!!

Moved to the Dubuque area 10 months ago and needed to find my new dentist. A Google search indicated that Midwest Dental might be what I was looking for. After two cleanings, a crown, and two fillings; I am VERY pleased with the treatments and service. Friendly staff and a dentist who keeps me informed.
