RAVE! To Dr Burgmeier Dentistry!
I finally found a dentist that CARES! I have PTSD from my experience with a dentist as a child and have HIGH anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. My childhood dentist was brutal! He never used novacaine when filling cavities and I was basically traumatized. This particular dentist was in Waterloo, where I grew up. Over the last 26 years, I had been going to another dentist office in Mason City, but the receptionists were often rude and they always expected copay paid in full at the time of your appointment, which more times than not, was extremely expensive if you had to get a lot of work done.
Anyway, I was referred to Dr Burgmeier recently, and he actually takes the time to listen to you. He makes sure you're comfortable at all times and greatly reduces any anxiety associated with any dental procedure. AND, he offers affordable payment plans so you don't leave his office broke.
I give him and his staff 5 stars

Can't give this place enough of praise. Would rate it more than 5 Stars if possible. I was injured in a game officiating (Iowa Bulls), and Mr. Burgmeier luckily was at the game. He took me to his office and provided emergency work on me. One of the nicest, genuinely caring Dentist I have ever met. My best friends father is a dentist, and I go to him back in Pittsburgh. Dan made me feel just like my Dentist back home, and gave the impression I have always been a loyal patient and priority #1.
My injury consisted of an avulsed (completely knocked out tooth), and it was very questionable if I would keep my tooth. Because of his swift response and expertise, I am able to keep my fully knocked out tooth (after he put it back in). For this, i am extremely grateful for one; keeping my original tooth, and two saving the cost of an implant.
To Dan and his staff, you have a truly amazing business, and I cannot recommend them enough. The business itself is very clean, welcoming, and the staff is some of the nicest I have encountered. If you are questioning who to come to within Mason City (heck even Des Moines), visit these guys. You will not be disappointed! Thanks Again.

I am 71 and really don’t like going to the dentist. I have gotten used to cleanings because I have a
super special hygienist ( Tasha). Then my tooth was hurting nd Dr. Kyle took out really, really old silver fillings and replaced them. At the same time he fixed a place on the same tooth where the enamel
had worn off. Dr. Kyle and his assistant were wonderful! They even called to check on me to see if I was
okay. I am ready to go back and have another age-old filling replaced. Your dentist really makes
a difference!
