What an absolute disappointment of a dentist office. I haven’t been there in awhile because COVID. I call today to get my cleaning done and a cracked tooth fixed, and they refuse to take me because of my SECONDARY insurance. I’ve been a patient here for YEARS. So because I haven’t been there in a year because of a worldwide pandemic and because I have two insurances, they refuse to let me come back?! Absolutely unacceptable business practice! I even asked if they could just not bill my secondary insurance and they said no! Absolute unacceptable way to treat patients, especially when they haven’t came in a year because of a PANDEMIC. Both the ladies I spoke to basically said they don’t care if they lose me as a patient, when I said I would just find somewhere else to go because this is an unacceptable way to treat patients, the second lady said “okay sounds good. I’ll make a note of that” 🤯

ETA: in response to their comment on the review, they said NOTHING about a waiting list. I’ve been a patient for YEARS, why should I have to go on a waiting list when the only thing that has changed is my secondary insurance? No other practice does this to its patients. Oh, and it’s HIPAA, not HIPPA.

We have always been very pleased with the care we receive at Burgmeier Dentistry. We have referred two more family members this past year, that are now current patients and seemed pleased with services at both Mason City and St. Ansgar! The ease of processing with insurance and paying has been great!

I have been a long time patient and I love the way that my visits are nearly pain free. They are concerned for my over-all health. Also waiting time in lobby or chair is within 15 at most to be seen. The staff is wonderful and the receptionist is incredible. They are always willing to work with you. The need to be seen for an emergency is same day and I was pleased with that . Overall great dentist and staff.

I have had a lot of dental work in my time. I've used dentists from Los Angeles to Minneapolis and I can say that Burgmeier Dentistry has truly been one of the best. Going to the dentist will never be fun for me but at least I know they will make it as painless as possible with the best results. I also appreciate that they don't judge. They take care of business!

My husband and I just started going to Burgmeier Dentistry in February 2018. Both of us was very impressed with our care and the entire staff. We both know we will have no concerns about the care of our teeth in the future. We extend a special "Thank You" to the entire staff.

We moved to town last year and had to find a new dentist. I've been so pleased with Burgmeier Dentistry! The customer service and expertise from the reception desk, hygienist, and Dr. Burgmeier are all top notch. I feel as though they really care about their patients and their overall well-being. Thanks so much!

Leah is 6 years old & is excited to drive an hour & a half!!! Only because on the drive she says to her little sister Ella, “Ella, they squirt water in your mouth! You get a new toothbrush AND the Token Tower!”. Leah has so much trust & admiration for Burgmeier Dentistry and it really shows! As soon as we arrived yesterday we were greeted with smiles & the girls went to the playroom to play Legos & color & search the Token tower. Ella, almost 3 years old, went back first with hygienist Heather. Heather took her time showing Ella the instruments & explained cleaning Ella’s teeth so that Ella could understand it all. Heather is so professional & caring! Then it was Leah’s turn. Burgmeier Dentistry is so used to having kids that they let siblings hold each other’s hands and help out. Leah’s teeth needed more work because she had some sugar bugs (cavities) and part of a tooth in the back was broken. Burgmeier was able to get us back in later that same day!!! They made it work! They fixed Leah’s teeth. Leah tells me that she doesn’t just come for the token tower & to play, but she loves to come because the people are nice!! That is why we make the drive!! Definitely worth the drive! And we will continue to come because of the care, professionalism & nice people!!!

My husband and I have been patients at Burgmeier Dentistry for many years. We have always experienced excellent dental services and appreciate their thoughtful and caring customer service. We will continue to refer our friends to Burgmeier Dentistry.

Never been here but I'm sure they are wonderful. If I ever move to their area I will try them.
