Love them so sweet and funny

There is no timetable for any services. You could be there for a half hour or 3 hours for a basic cleaning. Everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off. They had a dentist there who injured patient's teeth, but I think they fired him. Either way, the dentists only stick around for a couple months before they find another office to work at.

I only gave it one start because I had to . Worst experience of my life! Got a tooth pulled on a Monday followed all precautions and had a dry socket by Tuesday . Now yes it happens even if you follow all the rules but it soon began to ooze yellow / white out that had a nasty taste and horrible smell so I requested an antibiotic and was told it wasn’t necessary. They packed the socket and sent me on my way . Went back a few days later still in an excruciating pain , crying in the chair asked the densist if I could be allergic to the packing ( Gel Foam) as it itches and really hurts when they use it . And he told me it was impossible *** its not impossible FYI*** he said he was going to pack it with a medicine but packed it with medicine and more gel foam ! I again asked for an antibiotic as I have a weak immune system and he again refused. So I left in more pain then when I got there and itchy faced. Ended up calling back 3 hours later and demanded an antibiotic or I would be filing a complaint with dental board . I did get an antibiotic finally and asked what else I could do for pain . I was told to go see my family dr .... also what they told me to do if I wanted an antibiotic! I’m on day 7 of suffering and have not once been offered anything to help with the pain and I don’t dare ask as I was made to feel like a pill seeker for wanting an antibiotic.

Today I will be looking for a new dentist as spending the weekend crying and unable to function was too much . I deserve to be treated better than this . My family 5 will be looking for a new dentist.

Very poor bedside manner, unfriendly service, rough with kids, not accommodating for children with special needs, and not the best dental work I've ever had - I had to get much of their work re-done by other dentists. I would STRONGLY recommend going somewhere else if you want to be a PARTNER in your health care, not just have stuff done to you by prideful jerks.

I went to Summit Dental as a referral from my usual dentist in Onawa, since I have high anxiety about dentists and Summit does IV Sedation. I left my consult crying because of the horrible experience I had. First of all the young woman I saw told me I had nearly double the cavities than my regular dentist had said, that I needed 3 root canals, and a crown that might result in her pulling it after. I just finished all of my dental work at my regular dentists office without IV sedation and had less anxiety about it than I did at my one consultation from Summit Dental. I only needed one root canal and there was no reason for wanting to pull the tooth that needed a crown. The dentist at Summit I saw was also terrible at explaining what different procedures entailed, and talked to me as if I had gone through dentistry school as well. To top the whole visit off the woman at billing said that all of the work would cost roughly $5000, and that after insurance I would need $1000 to make an appointment and $1000 on the day of. Now, after getting the work I actually needed done elsewhere I haven't paid more than $200 out of pocket. Worst visit I have ever had to a dentist's office. I can see how they make enough money to have a Keurig in their waiting room, and its from doing more work than is needed. After reading their reviews pre-consult I was optimistic, but I'm so glad I didn't return! I took their plan of what I needed done to my regular dentist afterwards and she agreed that I should not go back. And no, Summit Dental, I would not like to call your office to discuss anything further.
