I decided to switch dentists, so I searched for a local dentist. I chose Dr. Tom because I'd seen many advertisements for him. I decided to give him a try.
He and his staff are more than welcoming, knowledgeable and considerate, they are amazing! From my very first experience, I decided to make a permanent switch to Dr. Tom.
My praise continues...I had an incident about ten years ago which damaged one of my front teeth. My old dentist's "fix" left it with a dark yellow streak, uneven surface, and a groove in the bottom. When I addressed my concerns, I was told that it was the "best" it could look now that the tooth was damaged. After a couple of years went by, I had the same dentist redo it again, in an attempt to make it better. It didn't work. So, when I switched to Dr. Tom, I decided to ask him about it. He was convinced that he could make it better, so I made another appointment to get it fixed. My hopes weren't too high as I had already been disappointed twice with my old dentist. Flash forward, YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL THERE WAS ANY DAMAGE!!! Dr. Tom must have a magic wand because I can't even tell where the old "fix" was! I lived with a bad tooth reconstruction for ten years and he fixed it in fifteen minutes. AMAZING!...and for only $23!!!!
I will NEVER go to another dentist again! I even switched all my family members over to Dr. Tom.

I've been here several times and had no complaints, until recently. The hygienists act like used car salesmen trying to get you to purchase additional procedures or exams and have began to sell a "Tooth and Gum Tonic" that is "all natural" and has "essential oils" for a fairly hefty price.
While I can't speak to how well this "tonic" actually works, the same hygienist was also telling me about how the notorious Dr. Oz was an "excellent doctor" and that "essential oils" are good for you because, you know, they were used a long time ago. Not that science has shown anything, just that they were used a long time ago.
I wanted to chalk this up to the views of one particularly misinformed employee, but since they are actually selling pseudo-scientific "tonics" I can only conclude that they've seen the dollar signs associated with this type of scam and are perfectly okay with misleading their customers.
If peddling snake oil isn't a deterrent for you, then just know my mouth is still sore three days after a routine cleaning. Still hard to eat anything. Can't say I've ever had one that rough.
